I bought these for this motorcycle riding season. The transition of the lenses works but is very slow. I wish it would get a little darker on a bright day but its better then having clear only lenses still. they were comfortable to ware but a bit on the loose side and don't completely seal out all the wind from your eyes for running on a motorcycle. I got a nice juicy bug to the chin the other day and looked down to wipe off the slime at speed and them being a little on the loose side along with not sealing out all the air it caused them to fly off on the road at 55mph. they did not survive the 55mph flight across the ground lol. soo on the search for something else that will work better on the bike.

These are great! I was hesitant because they don’t have cushion to keep the wind out, but the shape definitely makes it pretty wind proof. The color change happens quickly enough. The reason for only 4 stars is the fit. They do fit well, but there is a slight gap at the top by my eyebrows. If these had a ratchet type hinge where the glasses meet the arm they would be perfect so I could tip them up a bit. They are comfortable and don’t slide down. They don’t get super dark, but does provide sun protection. I will wear these any day where there is change in the sky such as sunrise, sunset, or clouds. When I’m doing an only day ride in full sun with no clouds I will use my darker shades. Very convenient not to carry 2 pairs of glasses.

This is my second set of Bobsters. My first pair was the Rukus. I lost my Rukus when I lent it to a friend who had it fly off her face at high speeds when her helmet flew off (too loose a helmet). I got this as a replacement to see how it'd fare against the Rukus. As a cheaper pair, my expectations weren't too high. My guess was correct. This pair isn't as nice as the Rukus and with my low bridge (I'm Asian), these glasses don't fit well at all. The wind still comes in through the bottom. However the photochromic portion does work a bit. It doesn't work GREAT, it works OK. Overall, this would be an OK product for those that fit the Bobster profile, but for everyone else, I recommend you to shy away
