What is the difference between Garden of Life Vitamin Code RAW Prenatal VS Garden of Life my kind Organics Prenatal Multi for women.

The biggest difference is the RAW prenatals are uncooked, untreated, unaltered and not certified organic where the Organic one is certified organic and is not RAW. Here is another users comparison that's found:Both are the same length, but the rounded Raw capsule is thicker. The Kind Organics tablet (w/ patented "Clean Tablet Technology") has a mildly sweet, fragrant coating that gets slippery with less water-easier for me to swallow.When immersing both in vinegar (digestion test), the Kind Organics tablet sinks to bottom of cup and begins dissolving faster than the Raw capsule, which stays floating on top of the vinegar in the cup.They both have 800 mcg. (200%DV) folate. The folate has all the vitamin properties of folic acid,* but it's wonderfully NON-synthetic. *This is the PRIMARY prevention of devastating neural tube defects.Both of these GOL prenatals are gluten/dairy free whole food multivitamins with no synthetic binders or fillers. They have the same amount of vitamin C, Biotin, Iron, Iodine, vitamin E , Niacin, Pantotheric Acid AND Ginger.Kind Organics is Organic, Non-GMO and Vegan certified. It has more vitamin B6, B12, vitamin K, Selenium, Riboflavin, Thiamin and Chromium. This also includes peppermint leaf in its "stomach soothing blend."Vitamin Code Raw Prenatals has MANY organic ingredients, but is not USDA certified organic. However, it has more vitamin D, Calcium, Magnesium AND contains enzyme activators, Molybdenum (a raw food chelated mineral), mixed carotenoids (including lycopene), tocopherols, organic seeds, beans and sprouts (along with their organic fruit/veggie blend), algae, etc. This also includes brewers yeast and fermented soy.I was already "sold" on the benefits of raw foods, so I'm a bit surprised that the Kind Organics isn't raw. In addition to the Organic/Non-GMO/Vegan certifications, Kind Organics appears to have a less "exotic" food list for those that may have allergies-particularly to seeds, sprouts and soy.The only physical difference I've noticed so far is a temporary mild, unsettled stomach when I take the Kind Organic Prenatal. This could possibly be attributed to my sudden switch in vitamin blends after prolonged use of the Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal.--------------------Hope this helps you! I personally love the RAW vs the organic and this is the first pregnancy that I've used the organic and not RAW. However, you can't go wrong with either :) both will give you and baby more pure nutrients then the prescriptions docs give you :)

Can you crush these and put them in food?

If you call Garden of Life and ask them, they will say yes. However when you crush any vitamin or medication, those ingredients go into your bloodstream quickly rather than being slowly absorbed if you swallowed it. .If you are sensitive to niacin or other supplements, then crushing this and taking the powder would give you all of niacin in a quick release and could cause you to have the "niacin flush", feeling uncomfortable heat on your skin and redness. I was actually allergic to the Annato in this vitamin and when I crushed the vitamin and took the powder with water... My body got all of that annato at once causing a very intense allergic reaction- within 5 minutes of swallowing the powder. and it was more intense than if I would have swallowed it whole and it slowly absorbed. Be cautious. But the niacin flush alone is not dangerous that I know of- just uncomfortable. So in summary, you can crush it and put it in food but I would lee some Benadryl handy in case you are allergic to anything in it too- rare but possible. P.s. I didn't have the allergic reaction until the 4th day of taking the vitamin. That happens often with allergies. Not always the first time you ingest it.

How does it contain iodine if it doesnt contain fish?

What form of folate is used? (not how much) i can't find any information about if it's l-5-mthf or other, or not at that biologic level at all.

Broccoli is an ingredient which has a lot of folate.
