The arm will then move by itself and place the needle on the record automatically. And of course at the end of the record it will return the arm to resting position and stop. I did not think I would use that feature to start my records, but it does work smoothly and I have found myself doing it that way instead of placing the needle onto the record myself. **Q: So this doesn't have a regular Phono out for a receiver with a phono in?** A: Yes it does. Comes with an adapter for you to plug in to your receiver. Has a button on back to switch from line out/phono depending on what you hook up to.
