I bought this on a whim because I have 3 long furred animals in the house and I needed a new broom. It's great for getting fur out of carpets or anywhere where it's really embedded. You just kinda scrub the floor and it picks up the fur and rolls it into clumps that are easy to pick up. I also used it as a broom and it's kinda so so with picking up fine sand and stuff but I love the bristles on this, can think of multiple uses for it. The hand held gadget is awesome for the furniture and drapes, just pulls the hair together into easy clumps.

Bought as a replacement for my old one, this is great for getting up the dog hairs from the carpet even after hovering every day, I’ve always found that u never get them all up so using one of those rubber brushes every day too helps and having the long handle helps to stop back pain, also really good on hard floors.
