AWESOME CarPlay upgrade for my 2010 VW CC
Best value upgrade to my VW CC2010. - Good build quality (photo attached). Not sure if it comes from the OEM supplier but definitely feels and looks the same quality. The parts has no cosmetic defects like injection mold overflow or anything else. - Easy to install. Basically pull the old unit out and plug this new unit in power on and it works. I am still waiting for the antenna cables to come so now only CarPlay blue tooth. No FM/AM yet. - CarPay works like a charm. My main motivation of get an upgrade is to use CarPlay and this unit nailed it. I used iPhone Xs Max, with iOS 13.1.2. The CarPlay just works. The firmware of the unit seems pretty old and has some bugs some times (for example CarPlay may have no response), but unplug phone and plug back solves the problem. Maybe manually update the firmware can solve this issue. - All control on steering wheel works ask well (next, previous, volume +-, even voice control can enable Siri, surprise to me)

Nice upgrade to add Android Auto to older cars
Purchased RCD360 Pro II to add android Auto connectivity to 2015 VW Passat. I did a lot of research before purchasing so installation went fairly straightforward; the only time consuming part was running a wire from a reverse light to RGB converter box. The cable harness included with the unit is plug-in, the included antenna adapter is not very good so I purchased a Dual Fakra Car Radio Antenna Adapter instead (ASIN B07QH762D4); YX2216 or similar RGB to AV camera adaptor is required for factory backup camera to work (ASIN B0C9D1VVCL), I tapped the power for it from a cigarette lighter wiring harness. Very pleased with the final result, steering wheel controls work, Bluetooth and wired Android Auto works as expected, sound is good and installed unit looks like it came from factory. Be aware that if you unplug airbag light connector on the dashboard trim the airbag warning light will come on and you will need a VAG-COM or go to dealer to reset it.

Works great but kills battery
Car play is great. Prefect fit for old radio. But how do you turn this thing off!!!! It’ll work with no keys, I push the power button seems to turn off. But kills my battery, I replaced the battery so not a battery issue!!!! If anyone knows how to keep from killing battery please help!!! If can keep battery from dying I rate 5 stars

I like it, works great, but not new as advertised
I was excited about this radio for my 2013 Jetta Sportwagen TDI. It came quicker then the estimated time, I think less than a week, which was great. But then when I opened it, it had three rather noticeable scrapes on the front, that someone tried to touch up with some sort of paint. Boo. I thought about returning it, but I didn't want to deal with the nightmare of shipping it back to China, waiting for the credit and then ordering another in hopes that it wasn't messed up too. I figured if it didn't work as expected, I'd return it. I also saw many others much cheaper, used on Ebay, that weren't scratched, but I already had this one. So, I installed it myself. It was super simple, literally took me 10 minutes max. I didn't have any sort of dash tool to remove panel, just a flathead screwdriver with a t-shirt wrapped around the end. Mine came with an antenna adapter and it was plug and play. SO easy. Once installed the scrapes didn't look as bad as they did in my kitchen. I hooked up a back-up camera ASIN: B07GWN2K85 which worked seamlessly with this radio (It also came with an adapter for the camera) after we had to contacted the seller, via WhatsApp to tell us how to unlock the radio so the image would show up. But the fact that the seller included their phone number and responded right away was pretty amazing. All in all, I really love the functionality of this radio, it looks great, as if it came from the factory this way. The bluetooth, steering wheel controls, usb, even siri work perfect. It has 15 radio presets, pandora, spotify, maps work great. It even reads your texts to you, asks if you want to reply, when you say yes, you can dictate your text and say send, and off it goes. Amazing! Like others have said, occasionally the usb connection fails for music playback, but you just have to unplug quickly and it will work the second time around. My Jeep factory radio does the same thing. Also, I think it's worth mentioning, I really think it somehow make my speakers sound better. I was going to replace the speakers too, but now, they seem cleaner sounding somehow. Could be my imagination, but I don't think so. Summery, I'm glad I got it, great update for my older car, but I really wish it didn't have those scratches.

Best way to get phone connectivity for older VWs
Where to start? I settled with the PROII version, or as the title says "PORII", and I have no regrets. The device is quite literally plug and play which is nice and looks fantastic once installed. I basically got the unit for Android Auto since I was downgrading from a 2021 Subaru to a 2013 VW. I will say, the Android auto experience so far is flawless. I dare to say it's even more responsive than the Android Auto in my 2021 Subaru. The unit looks and feels stock and even the menus reflect that. I have only had the unit for less than a month but I will happily update this review if anything major pops up. Just because it's a Chinese made unit does not mean it is trash. They put a lot of work and effort into this and I can respect that. Just because your unit is faulty does not mean all of them are. I would assume the seller would respect that in some way at least but I hopefully never will discover that. I would highly recommend this and already have to a friend with an older VW who is dying for Android auto.

This was my third attempt in installing an aftermarket touchscreen for my Volkswagen Jetta. The other two units I tried (different brands) did not work at all. This one worked straight out of the box. I am very happy with it.
