Rubie's Toddler Superman B Child Costume

I got the infant sized one for my one year old and it fits perfectly. He is on the thinner side so the outfit does sort of sag a little but if your little one is a little meaty it will actually look better and more "filled out". My point being, there is some room allowance width wise.I do like the fleece-y type of material, which is great for cooler days. It feels nice to the touch, soft, and didn't feel or experience any scratchiness. I would still recommend wearing something underneath just so the skin isn't just bare underneath this outfit. If you are wearing this outfit for Halloween (fall season) and it is a cold day out, I would recommend dressing warm underneath as this material is like fleece but it is quite thin. I wouldn't recommend this material for warmer days, at least not for long because it will get quite hot.I'm not too happy with the velcro for the bottom/pants section of this costume, and would have preferred snap on buttons. However, it isn't bad. The velcro is placed in a way where there is some ventilation, so perhaps the velcro closure is due to safety issues. If you snap the velcro together properly, it shouldn't be scratchy or irritating. The legs are jogger style with cinched opening.Like most of the other Superman costumes, the cape is attached with velcro and can be removed.Overall this is a great outfit - maybe not the most high quality material but it is good. It is by no means shabbily made or falling apart. Most people wear these things once anyway (eg: for Halloween), so I'm not sure why anyone would need high quality costume when it is going to be disposed or donated after one use. I would recommend this.

My 3 month old son LOVES this costume. We purchased it for Halloween, but it has become his favorite PJs! Super warm and soft.The mask was too tight for him, but he was born with a larger head (14cm). Easily remedied with some black ribbon to replace the elastic band, felt, and hot glue.Tag was also large, so we cut it out. The thread has started to unravel at the leg, but that's after 4 washings and lots of wear. (I don't expect much quality stitiching from these type of costumes).It was also tight around his neck due to a good size double chin, but the velcro position on the costume makes it easy to not velcro that part and simply put the cape on.We will be looking for more costumes to use as PJs as he is so happy in it and looks adorable. :)
