Ultra Pondweed Defense

I use this on a IWLA pond that I help manage. It is the only thing I have found that can keep watermeal and duckweed in check. I mix it according to the directions and spray every three weeks and it really works.

We purchased this with the treatment booster plus. We used it as directed for weeds that were in our pond mainly below the water. It worked very well. Before using the product there were many weeds visible at the surface of the water. After about a few days there were no visible weeds at the surface where we sprayed. We treated our pond a few times (with a week in between applications as directed). We used a pond rake to get the dead weeds out (ones that we could). It also worked well for above the surface weeds.

Works great. Fairly priced.

I have a 4 acre pond and decided to try this. Even though it’s fairly expensive. The description says once the weeds die they will sink. “Not”. It did kill pretty good but difficult to spray out. I do believe the pellet form of application would be much better. The video shows how it turned out a month after application. I will say it did not seem to hurt the fish. Was packaged well and was on time.

I have yet to go wrong with Airmax products. I highly recommend most of their products with exception of prices. This particular product works well, but not my favorite. I also use The Pond Guy and local private vendors with exceptional products. Some carry their products at lower cost as well.

The first gal did not work, so I do not want the second gal. I do not want to accept delivery. It does not kill duckweed.

Pond went from 80% covered in seaweed from to barely noticeable in 3 days. Didn’t bother to spray or dilute, just dumped by the fountain intake with added air max booster just to see if it would do anything. We’ll see how long it lasts. No fish harmed - plenty of blue gill, bass, crappie.
