KregEasy-Set Depth Gauge/Depth Collar/Hex Wrench

Item arrived and is what I expected, except for Amazon's packaging which was inexcusable. a 6 X 12 inch piece of bubble wrap around another object in the box which allowed it to bounce around in a 12 X 18 box, thus damaging the packaging of the stop collar and thickness gauge. Well done Amazon. The other item was a Kreg corner clamp weighing it at about 1 lb.

I bought a replacement Kreg drill bit and this item separately. When I received both I tried the stop-collar on the drill bit but it would not go onto it. Collar was too small. I tried the collar on my old drill bit and it would not fit either. I tried my old collar on the new drill bit and it fit perfectly. Obviously, the collar is the problem. On the packaging it says it fits all Kreg jig drill bits. Thankfully this did not cost much. The hex gauge by itself is worth having though.

I lost my original hex key. I brought this to replace it and it is easy to use and has great references marked on it.

I am an expert in losing my Kreg collar and/or the set screw. This solved the problem at a very low price.

Bought this as a back up for my Kreg K5 - works great and the hex key is easier to use as just an allen wrench.came with the kit I originally procured,
