Good product
This product is awesome...I do definitely recommend for parents with little ones. It has not leaked on my little since I've gotten this. Super easy...clean. I put over regular cups as well but...I may say it's hard a little to get it over the cup correctly but..once over the cup..it's suction is A+. DEFINITELY ..recommend.

Works great- for toddlers with a little self control
Works great! Fit on many other cups I have. I usually keep one in my purse so if we are at restaurants or a friends house its very handy. Only complaint is that my 1 year has figured out that if you push down on the lid you can make liquid squirt out of the straw. Once your toddler figures that out, it's useless bc they will never stop. However my 4 yr old uses them wonderfully and it keeps him from spilling all over the house. He knows not to push down and make a liquid volcano mess, or else. So... Works great and doesn't spill even upside down. Just make sure you give it to a child that has some self control.

Just want I needed
These are perfect to fit on a plastic cup in Disney world. They keep the drink in even if the kids tip it. Solved all my spill stress.

Problematic Lids - Squirts, Leaks, Absorbs Odors, Rips
I have the Boon spouted sippy lids and thought I would love this. WRONG!1. Squirts or Leaks - There are two holes on the lid. The larger is for the straw. The smaller is for venting. Put the straw in the larger hole...whenever you put any pressure at all on the silicone lid (and trust me kids LOVE to feel and squish the soft silicone lid) liquid contents come shooting out of the straw in a jet stream. Some reviewers say put the straw in the smaller vent hole and use the larger straw hole to vent to eliminate the squirting problem. Sure, that may help but then when the cup tips over, or is left upside down on on it's side, water leaks out of the large hole. Either way, you're going to have some unwanted leakage.2. Absorbs Odors - Soft pliable silicone has matte finish which is nice. It doesn't pick up lint like glossy silicone does. Also the opaque colors prevent most mild staining from showing. However, because the lids are silicone, you must wash the lids right away if you use with anything but water. Let anything sit too long, or go bad in the cup, and the silicone will absorbs the smell and it will always taste like that smell. Also, do not wash in dishwasher. The heat will cause the silicone to absorb the smell of the detergents you use. Sounds fresh and pleasant? Not when you can taste the smell of soap with every sip... I try to hand wash immediately after use with just water or as little soap as possible. Then air dry in rack.3. Durability Issues - The silicone rips easily. Be gentle...you can put a finger through it. Or cut it open if you bump into a sharp object. Or the kids can chew or tear it up. Or if you have it stretched over a cup and your child rubs the cup along the floor or wall, the edge of the cup will literally cut through the silicone. If you have young children that doesn't respect or take care of things, your lids will not last.I thought these would be great and really tried to love them but they just have way too many issues to be worth my while. Even with durability issues regarding the silicone, I still happily buy and use the Boon Snug spouted sippy lids. But these, don't bother. I cannot recommend.

Buy this, not traditional sippy cups
I love that I can turn almost any cup into a spill proof straw cup. You can also use different straws. These fit over small mason jars, too. So easy to clean, much better than traditional sippy cups. Besides liquid coming out of the tip of the straw, these are completely spill proof. The only down side I've found, other reviews had mentioned as well, is that if you push on the top of the cup cover, the liquid will come out of the straw. This actually helped my daughter (7 months) learn to drink from straws because she could force the liquid up before she got the hang of sucking on the straws.

1 issue
I like the concept and really was excited to try it. It does help preventing most spills that come from a toddler learning to use a straw. When tipped liquid only comes out of the straw which is awesome. However the lid balloons up in a little dome shape and when pushed or prided shoots water everywhere from the straw like a geyser which is not so awesome seeing as kids love to prod everything. Cup it's self is pretty durable. Love the colors. Just still messy. I guess kids are many to make messes!

Lets you use disposable straws. Wonderful!
Simply wonderful if you can practice following two things:1. Always put the silicon lid first before inserting the straw. When you take the lid off to refill the content, remove the straw before you put the lid back on.2. Use a longer (disposable) straw instead of the ones provided in this package. I prefer those that can bend. The longer the straw, less likely the back flow of the liquid thru the straw. This transforms any choice of cup into toddler-friendly cup. Best part is how easy to clean them!

Makes any cup spill proof
It works very well for the ikea plastic cups that we have at home. I use it with a silicon straw. The kids have dropped the cups on the floor and the lids have held up well.4 stars because it can sometimes squirt out the liquid out of the straw but doesn't happen often enough to be a concern.

Good
My 14 month old loves these, they do make a mess if she throws them or continuously pulls the straw out, but they are training cups, and she loves drinking out of them.

Straws not silicone
Disappointed with product as the straws aren’t silicone. They are plastic.

Very messy, wouldn’t buy
The lid creates a huge air bubble inside so any slight touch of the lid shoots the liquid inside straight out of the straw.

Versatile lid for many different cups
We use these lids every single day. They work on all sorts of cups and really don't leak very much IF you use the right straw.I don't like the straws that come with these lids. They are a hard plastic, my niece bit on and it bent.We went ahead and purchased separate Boon straws that have a valve at the top that only opens when the straw is sucked on. I highly recommend buying those straws if you're going to get these lids. My toddler started using these at 12 months and we still use them. An older kid may not have any trouble in terms of making sure the cup doesn't tip over if you use the straws that come with these lids. However, like I said my niece who is 3, bit down on these straws and they bent. So I would grab different straws. But lid wise, you can't beat these.
