Why are there 4 different sized filters for the kalita 185?

I don't think there are 4 different sizes. There are two different size filters (185 and 155). They are for the two different sizes of Kalita drippers--also 185 and 155. The 185 size is larger than the 155 size. The 185 drippers brew an 8 to 16 oz. cup of coffee, the 155 drippers will only brew an 8 oz cup. Hope this answers your question.

Has anyone noticed a perfume-like smell when wetting the filter? This is my first time purchasing Kalita filters so I wasn't sure if that was standard

Yeah it is true. I used Hario v60 for a while, and recently I begin to try Kalita 185. I purchased the filters and they smell like perfume when hot water touch them. I even can smell it from my pour-over coffee. Will return it.

What are the actuall dimensions of a single filter?

Diameter at open end is about 4.5 inches; diameter of flat bottom is 2 inches.

Do these match the size of the Stagg XF filters?

Those filters do not match. The Stagg XF filters are taller, but have a smaller diameter at the bottom.

Best white paper filter so far

I'm quite sensitive to smell and usually avoid white paper filter as some other brand I tried left a hint of bleach in contact with hot water. But this one is almost no noticeable after few ml of hot water rinse. Will definitely buy it again.

This isn't a LARGE paper filter, this small size (1 cup) and the biggest is 4 cups.... dont buy it for 8-10 or 10-12 cup filter coffee machine
