LotFancy Medical Silicone Tape, 2Rolls 1”×5.5 Yds, Waterproof Adhesive Surgical Tape, Soft Skin Tapes for First Aid, Wound, Bandage and Sensitive Skin

This is a first rate product in several ways. 1) It holds bandages etc. tight 2) and yet it doesn't hurt when you pull it off even if it's covering a hairy spot, so it's perfect for sensitive skin and 3) it's reusable so it goes a long way. I love it.

The Lot Fancy silicone medical tape is an outstanding product. It stays in place longer and holds stronger than any of the other pain-free medical tapes I've tried. Its frequent perforations make it easy to get the length you need without scissors, and it removes cleanly. I use it to secure external pain management devices, and it's the only product that will hold them in place for twenty four hours without damaging my skin when I remove it.However, I have received defective or fake products several times when ordering from Amazon. If the tape is difficult to dispense and leaves so much adhesive on the next lower layer on the roll that the outside is almost as sticky as the inside, it's defective. If it's perforated only every inch and a half, doesn't stick well, the packaging is larger than needed, and the spools fall apart in your hand, it's a fake product. If you get either of these, use Amazon's return policy.

The tape works as expected. For my needs, I would prefer if it wasn't perforated. I had a few instances where I needed a longer piece and it unexpectedly tore on a perforation line.

My daughter and I are allergic to a lot of adhesives. This is much better than other adhesives, especially when you have to use an adhesive. Those wraps are great when you can wrap around an arm, but some places still need adhesives to keep dressings in place. My daughter has had to use this tape daily for 3 months now. It still gets a little itchy and sometimes leaves a little adhesive, but she's not breaking out, having red skin, or little welts after taking it off. I even take it with me when I know they will need to use adhesives at her appointments. The tape kind they used was driving her crazy with all the itching. The price is also much cheaper than in stores. Hopefully, she'll be healed up soon and won't need it anymore, but until then we have it in our subscriptions here on Amazon.

This tape is the best of the best. I have developed allergies to almost all medical/surgical tapes (including tegaderm & paper tape). This product is a lifesaver. Not only does it not irritate my skin, but it actually STICKS! It has stayed stuck on my skin through showers, movement, long surgical recoveries, and more. I reinforce my PICC dressing with this tape every week, and it is magic.

I recieved an old lot. The adhesive was all melted, hence the adhesive was in the top side and bottom sides of the tape. The perforated strips also were not effective. I purchased this thinking it was similar to the last order. However, I had to throw this all away. I pitched for wound care. I couldn't even repurpose for anything else. While the adhesive melted all over, it was not sticky enough to use on anything- not even paper.

Disappointment in a boxI knew another review said that the design of the roll meant that the tape stuck to itself-I just didn’t want to believe it was this bad, well it is!I went ahead and applied it to my skin anyway and worked for 5 minutes or more to get the excess sticky film off, using some vitamin E oil. It did the trick but I’ll have to do this each time, which means there are globs of silicone which I have to try to get out/off of other surfaces.Maybe the European design wanted to rid themselves of guilt over single use plastics and therefore removed a backing product that another competitor uses to its credit.Besides the sticky mess you will notice that this tape is blue tinted. If you are a blue skinned creature then it will appear clear, I am not and therefore this is blue on my skin tone (as pictured)Do I want sticky residue and blue tape just so it’s waterproof? I’m not sure it’s worth it. I probably should have shopped around longer.

If you love your skin, you need this tape. Recently has double mastectomy surgery and the tape used by the hospital caused blisters and was painful to remove. This silicon tape with the perforated areas along it was easy to use, able to be repositioned, and so gentle on my skin. The Physician Assistant was so impressed, she recommended it for use in the plastic surgeons office. I’m overjoyed with this product.
