The item is a perfect fit for iPad Air 1. There were basic tools in the package to open the iPad. The screen was also protected against scratches in transit. The sides had double sided tapes. The item is good.It arrived in an open package. This could be improved.

All was ok, simple to replace, however the fingerprint is not working (it's ok) and the button doesn't look like it'll last long.

Glue is not strong enough. Suffering from ghost typing and had to apply glue.

Missing home button strip,, item returned,, Got refund for the item only ,,,

I took my ipad to a professional to install it, it came back working however the lower half of the ipad doesn't respond to touch. not sure if its a flaw in the product or wrong installation.

Screen is not working properl, only the right side of the screen is working and the left side is not, home button is not functional properly

Ma il mio consiglio è quello di cambiare il vetro soli in casa senza la presenza di figli o di moglie.Impossibile cambiare un vetro con queste presenze che disturbano la tua concentrazione,alterano il livello di attenzione,e l’ansia e il nervosismo ti salgono che è un piacere.La mia esperienza è stata pessima per cambiare il vetro rotto del mio iPad.Dopo 10 minuti ho fatto volare tutto dalla finestra,compreso l’iPad e la moglie.

As a mobile repair service I would not recommend this to a repair shop or anyone working a job however for at home repairs it will do, increased convenience of it including a home button and the necessary tools. For those wanting a quality close to original screen however, I'd go for a screen from repair outlet as these screens will cost around the same price with much better quality, granted you know how to apply the higher quality screens. I did have some trouble with the connectors with this screen and I used some b7000 glue since the included strips aren't very strong but this could be put down to user error. Over all the next day delivery and decent quality screen I'd give this a solid 3/4 stars!

Fitted this screen, test fitted multiple times and everything worked great (or so I thought) my only original quibble was wishing the the cables cam pre bent to make it a bit easier. I took extra time to make sure the cables were bent weighting them down before fitting so the screen doesn't pop up on me.Now After actually going to use it the next day after leaving it weighted down for the screen to stick yesterday I cannot swipe from the very sides of the screen. This doesn't seem like a big issue until you can't get your notification bar or control centre.. and if I get it via the accessibility option I then can't swipe it back up to dismiss it.The seller has since contacted me saying they are going to adjust their packing in hopes to prevent damage in shipment. Hopefully this resolves this issue since everything else about this screen was better than the new one I had from another company. It's the sort of thing that has to be working first time. I would recommend trying the notification panel on top of swiping back and fourth on the home screen before sticking it down to ensure everything works.

I had cracked the screen on my iPad air A1474 and bought this kit as a replacement.Before it arrived, I watched a couple of videos online of how to replace the screen so I'd know how to actually do it (useful as this comes with no instructions).Pro'sThe screen is absolutely perfect, has really accurate touch action and the home button is great.Con'sThe pry tools included in this kit are cheap plastic and bent when first used. If I hadn't had my own metal pry tool, I'd never have gotten the screen lifted at all to begin removing it. There are not enough guitar pick type tools either and there were no instructions for the uninitiated.

Do you see those bus cables on the right?They fit very bad inside making to stick the screen on that area like imposible.The panel started to fail because "they fit" very very tight creating lije short circuits o false contact like when you touch the screen but nobody is touching.Avoid. Go for other with out that bus cables.
