Si pero No
Me encantó la historia de la juventud pero siento que le falto un poco a la historia adulta el final es una burla, demasiado apresurado y eso te deja un sabor de boca amargo 😭😭😭😭

Wonderful Book
I had this book on my TBR since I started this account.I fell in love with the cover but doubted if I was going to like it because of the reviews I read. Now that I've finished it I regret not reading it sooner. It is wonderful from beginning to end. The plot has left me wanting to read more about Annika and how she faces the world from her perspective.

Beautifully unique love story
wept away by this heart stealer! A second chance romance that truly represents the epitome of unconditional love. The main character, Annika (rhymes with Monica) Rose is afflicted with an anxiety condition that makes her uniquely charming. She’s such a fun character to get to know.Jonathan Hoffman is a prince among men. He’s quite taken by Annika the moment he sits across from her as her opponent in a chess match.Told from dual points of view by both Annika and Jonathan, the book begins in present day but quickly takes a step backwards to ten years ago, when Annika and Jonathan first meet through an on-campus college chess club. The story flows smoothly and is easy to follow. It has its highs and lows – and a few tears accompany both. Through it all, I was emotionally claimed and enchanted, too.The writing is simple and straightforward -- just like I want my character-driven stories. TGG keeps it PG rated – no slipping off to the bedroom for an overload of detailed sexual hanky-panky in this one. But there’s chemistry – plenty of chemistry and Annika isn’t afraid to tell Jonathan what she needs. So, yeah, a few romantic scenes that romance readers will appreciate.A major jolt near the end of the book totally caught me off-guard with an unexpected twist of the extremely emotional kind. Surprised the heck out of me. It also led to what I’m tagging as a misstep to an ending that felt rushed and lacking the attention I felt it demanded. That abrupt ending that begged for more cost this otherwise 5-star read the loss of one star. Yeah, it was painful and I ranted and raved. Did me no good – and I still loved every minute I spent inside the pages.Even though I was sorely disappointed in the abrupt ending, I still fell head over heels in love with these wonderful and amazing characters. To know them is to love them both. The author’s distinctive and unique approach makes THE GIRL HE USED TO KNOW one of the most beautiful romances I’ve read in a long time. For those readers looking for something just a little different – this is the book!
