Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom Classic CC Classroom in a Book (2019 release)

Avendo appena fatto l'upgrade del mio vecchio Lightroom al nuovo pacchetto "CC photography" ho deciso di acquistare un libro che mi aiutasse a utilizzare meglio Lightroom Classic CC e scoprire le basi di Photoshop CC - soprattutto il secondo essendo un programma potente ma sofisticato, che non avevo mai utilizzato e per il quale non volevo investire ore a seguire tutorial online.Questo libro combina entrambi gli argomenti in modo efficace (per un principiante): non affronta i due programmi in modo approfondito ma fornisce una serie di lezioni / tutorial che permettono di scoprirne le funzioni di base applicandole direttamente a dei casi pratici.Il libro viene accompagnato dalla versione elettronica - utile per me soprattutto per una consultazione veloce quando non si ha il libro sottomano - e da una tonnellata di foto per ciascuna lezione: volendo quindi si possono riprodurre esattamente i casi illustrati seguendo le operazioni passo passo; personalmente ho preferito evitare di riempirmi l'HD con foto di prova andando a elaborare direttamente le mie foto secondo quando presentato.Una lezione che ho trovato particolarmente utile è quella relativa alla configurazione delle due applicazioni per ottimizzarne l'integrazione: ci sono diversi parametri da inserire nelle preferenze che non sono scontati e aiutano a lavorare più facilmente con entrambi gli strumenti.Il formato del libro è comodo e l'impaginazione e la stampa sono di qualità. Le dimensioni molto contenute sono in realtà un'arma a doppio taglio: personalmente ne apprezzo la maneggevolezza e il poco spazio occupato in libreria ma le tante immagini contenute risultano quindi di piccole dimensioni il che, trattandosi per lo più di schermate di applicativi complessi, ne rende un po' difficile la lettura.

This is a great book for helping you think through a suggested "workflow" of processing your photos, and how Lightroom and Photoshop integrate. They explain that not all readers will need or use every aspect of the book, which is good, because as a hobbyist I do not need instruction on a filing system for my photos which they cover extensively. My only issue, as a neophyte, is that the book title and content refers to "Lightroom", but they are really showing you via the instruction and screen shots "Lightroom Classic" - the two interfaces are very different and if you try to follow along in Lightroom your screen doesn't match what's in the book, at all. I did not use the online resources which in all fairness may explain that, but the book itself does not.

I'm not sure why several reviewers stated they thought that the description is wrong or that it's not for Lightroom Classic... (Admittedly, the book title is wrong, but Amazon's "Classic" designation is correct.) However, throughout the book, you can see numerous screenshots that say "Lightroom Classic CC" on them. Adobe did a disservice to the product by confusing the two different flavors. "Lightroom CC" is a stripped-down version and looks nothing like the pictures in this book. "Lightroom Classic" is the desktop version used in this book. I'm teaching a class, using this book as our textbook, and can attest to the fact that it is for Lightroom Classic and not the CC cloud version. :)

I got this book mainly for LightroomCC . You have to download information and files from the net . The process is over complicated , having exchanging several emails emails with the company I was eventually able to download the files.( Probably just teething troubles ) .Im sure that they will improve the experience . The book provides lots of information and is worth having , glad I persevered with them .

This series is almost always a classroom in a book. It’s fairly thorough and teaches you a lot of basics. I purchased it because I have the memory of a squirrel and like to look through it when I forget how to do something. Very nice book that explains everything clearly and thoroughly.
