I think this would be great... if... (in my case) when I open the claws up and tighten the top back down it only holds one claw nice and tight the other three wobble around because the top wasn't welded on nice and straight. So when tightened down the top sits at the slightest of an angle only allowing for one claw to be tight. If they all stayed in place when tightened this would have a 5 star review across the board!

The first thing I noticed about this grappling hook was that it was rated at 750lbs as opposed to others I had looked at that were only rated at 250-300 lbs. It was also a little cheaper. Being stainless steel, you don't have to worry about it rusting. It's very compact and easy to use.

Amazing at helping me retrieve heavy items while magnet fishing. I take this with me every time it has been amazing I have used others that did not have nearly this nice of quality it collapses down and locks tight for transport from one location to another. I highly recommend this to anyone and will most likely be buying a second one to keep in my other car.

Worked perfectly to snag a tree limb so I could pull it to one side and cut it down without damaging another plant.

This grapple hook exceeded my expectations for clearing broken limbs stuck in trees after a major winter ice storm. Each of the four independent hooks can be engaged or conveniently locked out of the way.

It took some work to initially unlock it. It did not come with the procured line, but as a sailor, I’ve got a lot! It seems very sturdy and well made.

Claws are very sharp and dig in well however the “brand new” product looks like it has taken a bit of a tumble in the past overall functions as intended a the small damages are merely cosmetic would buy again but maybe not from this seller.
