The first one did not charge our ipad at all. This one works occasionally but eventually the ipad dies on it after a few days and we need to plug it in. We use the ipad as a conference room controller and my assumption is that the Zoom Conference room software that always runs on the ipad causes it to draw faster than the induction charging can charge it. In any case though, the only thing I can say for sure is that it definitely does not work for us in any kind of a functional manner.
