I am a chef and I was very disappointed in the fake leather ties and straps after the first wash they shredded and came apart. Love the denim apron but it is no good without the straps and ties. Its an apron should be able to be put in the washer. Very poor quality. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!

Not only stylish but tuff. I am a metalsmith and this baby does the job in keeping my clothes protected. Cute bag too!

This apron could go a number of different ways, but I use it as a shop apron. For wood working and bicycle repair, and apron of this kind is a real plus. Note that you can get just about any kind of shop apron: from leather to denim and everything in between. This one is a soft denim with plenty of pockets.If you haven't used a shop apron before, my only advice in getting used to it would be to not overload it. Too much heavy stuff in the pockets just doesn't work with a shop apron. It's not a tool belt, so no hammer and nails. It's a shop apron: so light stuff works best.Note that in the U.K. this is called a "pinny" and some call it a "smock" in North America. I prefer "shop apron," as you can tell. The Vantoo pinstriped denim apron makes a fantastic impression. It is packaged in a tan colored reusable bag that even has a single snap at its center. The apron is sealed in a plastic bag, so if you are gifting this, your recipient will be thrilled right off the bat. The cotton fabric is not a rough or inflexible fabric, it is a soft and draping material that is comfortable to wear and looks good. The PU leather straps are all attached using fine hardware and I would recommend that the neck strap button be facing the other direction and not be aimed toward the body as it is constructed. It is a small, metal bulbous button that I personally find irritating. The waist strap is extremely long, take a look at the pictures on this site to see how the model has it turned underneath the double D rings. This is also a weakness because it is tough to undo the strap when I want to remove it. I must reach around the back and struggle with the pretty lightweight D rings. Since the straps are PU leather, if they are cut, the edging will need to be finished off, so I'm not going to cut mine shorter. The pocket is kind of awkward, hemmed at the top edge but not turned under for the application to the apron front. You could put a phone in the pocket or something small, but this is not really suited to hold much, it's more for drawing in the color and face texture of the PU leather straps. The stitching on the apron is great, every one is done well and there are no loose threads.I will not use this apron in the kitchen, it is just not good for that purpose at all. It is really suited well for applications that take place in a clean environment because it needs to be hand washed and I would avoid getting the hardware or PU leather wet. It is very attractive and would be good in a teaching situation or perhaps a dental laboratory. I was thinking it would be good for doing food demos, but I won't use it for any which require me to prepare the food. For serving things in small cups that won't spill or stain, it is perfect. If the manufacturer used snaps instead of grommets, the straps could be removed and this could be washed, thereby extending its uses. All in all, I really like this apron and will use it without a doubt for several purposes. A sample was provided for evaluation.

The fabric is heavy and high quality pinstripe material that has a class look about it. Nothing cheap looking here. Would be great at formal get togethers or when you want to add an air of professionalism.Also works great as an around the house or shop / garage work apron.
