Worked for a day then the minimum reading was 65db even in closed silent room calibration would cost me double the price, amazon contacted them for me and 48 hours past and yet to answer.. pay more get better I would give minus 5 star

Missing battery and carrying pack listed
Arrived without the battery even though it’s listed with a battery and so I can’t try it. This battery isn’t very specific and is not easy find.

This works really well.
Bought this to test my exhaust noise level because of new draconian noise laws in Edmonton Alberta regarding vehicles. 1000$ for first violation then it doubles for each consecutive violation and the police do not even need to test it with one of these things, it just has to “sound loud”. I highly recommend this decibel meter and highly recommend not living in Edmonton.

IT DOES ITS JOB FOR A FAIR PRIC.E......ONLY PROBLEM" THE FOAM COVER FOR THE SENSOR COMES OFF TOO EASILY & I FOUND AN ADHESIVE THAT KEEPS IT FROM FALLING OFF WITHOUT NOTICE.
