When Used with an Irrigation System, It Is Very Effective, Even in a Swamp
Many reviewers use this product differently. This review is for the "All-in" approach of using the concentrate regularly with the companion hardware, known as the Sprinkler Magician. The concentrate and system regularly covers our entire lawn (1 to 2 times per week) by injecting the concentrate into the irrigation system zones and running each zone for a few minutes. It is very effective against mosquitos and noseeums in Southwest Florida, aka the Swamp. Prior to the Sprinkler Magician / Mosquito Magician system, we had tried one of the equally comprehensive Misting Systems that spray a mist of Pyrethrins around the yard. It did kill bugs when applied on a very still (no wind) day, but they would come back - sometimes as quickly as 15 minutes. We had the system removed at the end of 30 days because it was not providing good results, was very expensive, and we were concerned about health effects of the Pyrethrins after reading more about them. Sprinkler Magician is also expensive, but less. In the Swamp, it's worth the cost. After two weeks, mosquitos were noticeably decreased. By month of twice per week irrigations with Mosquito Magician, mosquitos were not a problem anymore and we scaled back to once-a-week applications. It has worked well for over a year. Noseeums are a little tougher. They are reduced, but when conditions are ripe for noseeums and we want to enjoy the yard in the evening, we manually trigger an irrigation before going outside. It's effective about 2/3's of the time. 1/3 of the time, we'd need to also apply repellant or go back inside. The smell of the product is nice. Friends and neighbors like it, too. Seems much safer than the Pyrethrins.

Absolutely Works - Frank Ruscingno, New Jersey
This stuff works. I have been using Mosquito Magician I would say 7 to 8 years now. The thing no one seems to consider is this, this stuff is great, knocks down my Mosquito population for sure. I spray it once a week with a combo of fogging it every other spray at a concentration of 4 ounces per gallon. This gives me 32 gallons of spray hence 32 weeks of spraying. If I see rain in the forecast I hold off spraying until I see at least two to three days of no rain forecasted. It's expensive so I don't want to waste time and money spraying around rain. Do I still see Mosquitoes, yes I do but at a very, very reduced rate. Nothing natural and even insecticidal made on planet earth is going to eradicate every Mosquito, NOTHING. But this is what people need to know. I spray once a week, have bunches of Mosquito plants that they hate the smell of all around my yard and entrances to my house. I make concentrated efforts on all bushes and places they love to hide also. Mosquito control is more than just spraying. My complaint by me and I'm sure most people would agree with this is my surrounding neighbors and businesses do absolutely nothing. Some aren't even cutting grass and weeds which create a tremendous Mosquito issue. So to compensate I spray more frequently which at least makes it bearable. So the bottom line is this, chemicals and treatments would work spectacularly if everyone in the general area of our houses would spray also but in my experience that's not going to happen. So continue using this stuff but combine it with Mosquito hating plants and other things like maybe a killing trap or even a bucket of water away from your general area with Mosquito donuts in the water. They come, lay their eggs and they all die from the Mosquito dunks, hence if they don't hatch you just eliminated thousands of new biters. I wish everyone good luck with this, I hate summer because of this annoying nonsense but it is what it is.

Makes your yard smell like indian curry for 2 days
Not everyone likes the smell, the product works, but it does need to be reapplied every 7-16 days depending on weather. Took three days after initial application to get some relief from mosquitoes around the house. Cut them down by about 90%. Does not seem to affect deer flies however.

I applied this product at the 2-4 oz per gallon as recommended by the manufacturer
Did not work for me anywhere close to what the product advertised. I applied this product at the 2-4 oz per gallon as recommended by the manufacturer. I used a stihl back back blower to apply the product. entirely coating the surrounding vegetation. When i finished mosquitoes were still biting the heck out of me in the exact same spot. I think it works as a mild deterrent for very light mosquito areas. But an actual knock down was definitely not observed. We are in river bottom land and have very robust skeeters. I do like the idea of something less toxic and definitely support that. However for the cost and what it was advertised to do, I would say a mild repellent at best. Like treat the outdoor area heavy, and if there is no wind the skeets might gradually avoid the area during the daylight the next day. But as for immediate response, I treated a 20ft by 20ft camping site with what was recommend to treat an acre and the skeets didn't budge an inch. I have tried several applications and very similar results as discussed above. Expensive garlic perfume for the yard.

Never again
Will it work- I don’t know yet. Just sprayed Will I ever use again-absolutely not!! Don’t use unless you’re fully covered, have a mask and DONT GET THIS ON YOUR SKIN!!! I’m currently sick to my stomach. My sprayer busted and sprayed me head to toe. This smell is nauseating and hard to get out of facial hair or your nostrils. Definitely will make a lot of people vomit. Hope it works but I’m sticking to the other chemicals!!

Quality Product with Results
Excellent product. Easy to use with proper equipment and following directions. In New England, spray is effective 2 plus weeks, assuming minimal rain. Works well with mosquitoes, only partially successful with black flies. Repeat customer last few years.

It actually works!
I was using professional companies for spraying in my front and backyard for several years. The results were not always great, apart from their costs. As I lived in Houston, there were tons of mosquitoes nearly all year around. I was half giving up my battle against mosquitos. In Summer 2022, things changed. I tried Mosquito Magician the first time. I bought a sprayer at the same time. It's very simple and easy steps to apply this product over my yard, bushes, and periphery of my house. The result was - to my surprise, it was so effective. Since then, Mosquito Magician has become a must in my household. At peak time in late Spring to Fall, I spray it roughly every 1.5~2weeks. The scent of garlic was strong for a day or two after its application, but it's not bad compared to chemical spraying agents. My dog does not seem to be bothered. Whole my family is happy to be out on the patio now. An added bonus is I am saving 75~80 of money which I used to pay to the professional pest control company.

It works!
This stuff works really well. The smell dissipates in a couple of hours and the repellent lasts about a week, maybe two depending on rain. We are in Florida and our house backs up to a woody area. Our next door neighbor has an old pool with standing water. When we bought this house the mosquitoes were unbearable. I tried a chemical spray, which did work but my dog had hives everytime I used it. I hated using it anyway and that was enough to look for another option. This works just as well and is safe for my pets. It also got rid of whiteflies in my watermelon patch. I ordered neem oil for that, but just happened to spray this for the mosquitoes before the neem arrived. Went out there the next morning and the whiteflies were gone too. I do not notice a reduction in butterflies, we have a lot. We've never had many bees to begin with so not sure about those guys. I do notice an increase in black flies. I will take that over the skeeters all day and twice on Sunday!
