A 90yo family friend gave me what was left of his reserve as he was just about to buy another. He could tell I was dubious about how much this horse linament gel helped his achy joints. I gave it a try after a long and tough recovery from sports injuries and can truthfully say this stuff is magic - truly, within 5 minutes I didn't remember my painful muscles. Strangely, this item took a long time to ship and arrived with no next day delivery option. Since I needed them for gifts everything turned out because I was able to get one at a nearby farm store then ordered 3 via amazon. The prices vary from $15 to $22 which is quite a swing in pricing what with ai and the odd programming controlled pricing @AMZN. We have entered the twilight zone in price control and are expected to be thrilled with finding this stuff. I also purchased, locally, the lotion as the farm store carried no GEL. I PREFER THE GEL WHICH COMES WITH A NICE MINTY SMELL.

Ignore the fact that it's a veterinary liniment and that horses are mentioned. I got this for my husband after a friend recommended it. It's more effective than than similar gels he's tried. It works almost immediately providing warmth and pain relief when applied to his shoulders and knees. Does it eliminate the pain? No, but it does ease it for a while. The faint spearmint scent is not overwhelming like the menthol odor of some products, and it's non-greasy. The price is reasonable.

I bought this for periferal neuropathy in my feet. I control my pain with responsible Lyrica use and walking, so if you're looking for miracles here, living with neuropathy is just that, but this product filled one void. I get concerned when my feet get ice cold and I worry about circulation. When cold I apply this over my feet, between my toes up to my ankles and put on loose hospital no slip socks. I feel it stimulates the outer skin although I don't feel a lot, but my feel get warm. It lasts quite some time and a dab of gel goes a long way. On my regular skin, you can definitely feel the warmth and my process warms my feet.

I cannot recommend this enough! A co worker brought some in and we tried it. Right away two of us bought bottles as did my best friend and my neighbor! It does have a very strong smell of spearmint gum but I don’t really feel like it lingers. But it takes the pain away in minutes and for several hours! Now I will say it took away the pain in my hip and sore feet right away but I’ve been battling “trigger thumb” and it has not helped that. It’s a good sized bottle for the money and I little bit goes a long way!

I hesitated to buy this because I already have a bottle of Absorbine junior liquid. But I compared the ingredients and the liniment gel had some additional and appealing ingredients that the liquid didn't have, so I went ahead and ordered it. It's for use on myself. It arrived today and I applied it to my knee immediately. I'm so glad I got it! It's better than the liquid. It assuaged the pain almost immediately, so it's very effective. A little gel went a long way, so this bottle will last a while. I'm very happy with it.

After receiving a recommendation from a fellow fibromyalgia sufferer in the United States, I decided to purchase this product for those days when I need additional relief beyond my regular medication. Pros: • A small amount goes a long way • Provides noticeable pain relief • Good value for money, as only a minimal amount is needed per use Cons: • The spearmint fragrance is quite strong and lingers for some time • While effective, it lacks the warming or burning sensation associated with products like Deep Heat • It is primarily marketed for use on animals, so human application is technically off-label So over all it’s a decent bug and a good items to have as a backup. I also use Biofreeze gel, which I find to be slightly more effective. It has a similarly strong menthol scent initially, but the fragrance dissipates much more quickly than that of Absorbine.

This stuffs excellent. I use it for my doggies, and also for insect bites, stings, aching muscles etc. I used to buy the one that didn't actually say "vets"liniment!! But it's changed labels. Used to use it for horses but lovely natural ingredients like tea tree, peppermint, and other natural.goodies make this just perfect for my sensitive hounds. V good for cooling them down as well. Pop half a teaspoon on a nice clean cloth, dilute it down as it's quite concentrated, and wipe down as required. Pesky insects soon get the message, fleas go running off at speed. 😁 American product origally I believe, quite old fashioned, still used today. Tried and tested x !!
