I bought this because my HDD needed a physical reconnect every boot, and instead of reaching behind and cycling the connection I can just press a button twice. If you're planning to use more than one drive it's important to understand that they won't play nicely if you have them switched on AT THE SAME TIME as they'll slow down a lot fighting each other for that single connection the hub is connected to.There's no USB hub remedy for multiple drives save for using a USB3.0 hole in the PC for each connection.

I always feel very annoying when i have to remove my External Hard Drive every time from my PC, even some time i get worry that it will harm my IMAC USB Socket as i have to plug and remove multiple times in a day and i cannot leave it plugged for all day as it can hurt my hard drive and my IMAC also because it will keep consuming energy from my IMAC all day and disk will keep spinning which can damage my Hard Drive. Unfortunately if you plug your external hard drive, everything else will stop working properly. I plugged in my mouse with my external hard drive, the mouse was lagging a lot, you can't move the pointer. I don't recommend this product unless you just want to use USBs and small items.

price is good and valued . i received and used several days .its really make my job more easy . actually i was looking for USB hub 4 few weeks and in officework minimum spend is 50dhs for an average. but this price and this quality is superior to that for lesser price . totally recommend

I bought a laptop last month and I have only 2 usb ports and 1 usb-c port too use. That is why I was looking for a good usb hub. A like this one due to its cheaper than the others, a good quality build, it has individual switch, and its working for me.

I was looking for a small size portable multi USB port and this is exactly perfect. Individual switch is the plus and a very useful feature for this data transfer product. whereas I have used it with my laptop I can switched of all other ports which were not in use and no need to take the cable out anymore.

Been using it for a month and so far, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

All ports works well.Used it to connect my mouse, keyboard and headset, no noticeable lag whatsoever.The dedicated on/off switch found to be useful when I used the last slot for my RgB mouse.Good buy all in all.

I only wish I knew that there were different USB types, specifically the USB-C port which I didn’t realize is not on my computer, and in the picture the hub has 4 USB 2.0 ports, so if you are not that savvy with computers look at the entire item. I had to but USB-C to USB 2.0 adapter to use it, other than that, it’s great.

Great solution to having no USB ports on the new MacBook Pro. This thing is a workhorse. I’ve had it for over 6 months now and it works perfectly. Love the cool color too!

This Usb C hub works well and the housing appears durable. The ports are well spaced and I can't imagine a Usb plug wide enough that you can't use the next door port. I'm using this on my Windows 10 Asus Helios 300 laptop and so far all devices have been detected.On my computer (and likely others) This hub is capable of running 4 devices including a 4TB harddrive. The only reason I gave this 4/5 stars is the cable. In the packaging the cable was bent where I could see it wearing out the wiring. The cabling is stiff towards the ends meaning that if you bend it too much or wrap the cable around the hub then it is more likely that the wiring will wear out. This isn't a huge problem unless you need to bend the cable in a certain way for space.

I bought this usb hub to use along with my new MacBook Pro for music use. I thought It would be a good buy because it had solid ratings and seemed slim enough to fit in my laptop case as a hub on the go.When I first got it I was pleased because the build quality seemed to be pretty good and it worked with all of my products. Plus it was slim! I mean, who wants to carry around a huge accessory like some of the others out there, right?Well, it’s been six months since I purchased it. No more pulse. Again, I take VERY good care of my equipment. It still looks the same like it’s fresh out of the packaging. It just stopped working out of the blue.If you don’t want to have to buy another hub six months from now I’d choose another product.
