The best epoxy, and the only one I use for crtical applications
3m consistently makes really good products. This epoxy is the best I've ever used. I've used it for about 16 years in my business. Having black is helpful, but the quality is great. TIP: Read the product application data. Good surface prep is important. Warm the repair it to 120F and hold it there. This speeds the cure rate, and drops the time need to cure to full strength from 24 hrs down to about an hour, and it's stronger too. When buying, check the manufacturing date and shelf life. There are vendors out there who shamelessly sell out of date product. (not with this order!) Out of date product may not work as well.Adding: 5/24 I received another tube today. The seller put their in stock label over the bottom of the product label, covering the date code etc. which is printed on the 3M label when the epoxy is made. Their label adhesive lifted the obliterated the date code when I tried to remove it. What's dumb is that they put the epoxy in a poly Ziplock bag before mailing it. Why didn't they put their stock label on the bag?

Use 3M DP420 epoxy for any golf club assemblies with no failures.
This epoxy will hold steel together, it's that strong! Be careful and make sure you're ready to glue your components together because it's a pain to take apart! No wonder the pro golf club makers use this stuff!

Excellent epoxy for general use -- BUT NOT RETURNABLE
I have used DP420 for various bonding projects and repairs for years with great success, unfortunately this time I accidentally ordered the black color instead of off-white and Amazon will not allow returns

Extremely Impressive Epoxy
When everything else fails, 3M's DP420 is the last product you will ever need! I used it for bonding aluminum to carbon fiber on two separate projects when 3 other epoxies failed. The first project was bonding a mesh aluminum to carbon fiber and then the second was a Driven Mantis IR sensor that has an aluminum base to carbon fiber. These both suffer from high heat and super high vibration. I'll never go with those cheaper products again! Thanks, 3M!
