Quality is determined by the user
The quality of the hammer is fine and generally exceeds the ability of the users; it is a tack hammer and should be used as such. The magnetic forked peen is very adequate for what it is intended for.

Good Purchase thumbs up
I will never be able to replace my grandfather’s tack hammer. It had a real wood handle and steel and I’m sure it came either from Germany or made in the United States to grow the United States so this one is made in Taiwan which is better than China and the handle feels good but it’s not real wood it looks like wood feels like wood almost is a good deal I mean I haven’t used it yet but I don’t see any problems with it yeah we’re not gonna get tools like we used to so there’s a little bitty hammers no I think this will do the job when I need it to so the one side is a hammer and the other side is a car and easy to hold and it’s a tack hammer so I mean it seems sturdy but I haven’t used it yet but yeah I would definitely recommend it. You really can’t tell that it’s not real wood. I’m a tool person and I’ve been looking for a long time so yeah I would recommend it

A serious, and honest review.
I am sure this hammer is great for the intended purpose. I however am a immature person that buys things for immature reasons. That being said, when you strike the magnetic end of the hammer crisply from the side with another metal object, the hammer makes a harmonic ring like a tuning fork. The first time I saw a hammer like this I was shown this trivial trick, and I knew I needed the tool. For all practical uses I have abused my tack hammer more than it deserves to be. I have marred the face of it hitting nails harder than any tack. All of that being said, the hammer works as a light finishing hammer, although that is not it's intended use. It also works as a toy for a person with a child's sense of humor. I would recommend this tool/toy to anyone, because it is cheap, and it is useful when you don't expect it. It is also fun to show your friends and family if you have the proper level of immaturity.

Love this hammer!
I had to run a 100’ Ethernet cable in our apartment due to my employer being under HIPPA regulations. The route is along the top of the wall due to a curious cat, so I bought a ton of clips. I knew that my normal hammer would be too much for the tiny nails in the clips and my fingers. This showed up on the clip’s listing, so I pulled the trigger. It worked great! It seems very well constructed, is balanced in your hand, and is easy to throw into a pocket during the work. Add the very reasonable price and this little hammer is a star.

Magnetic Head
Nice tack hammer that features a magnetized head for picking up small tacks and nails. Well made to last. Smooth finish on handle for a comfortable grip.
