Necessary
I already have this and took with me when I had to evacuate for hurricane. Went to daughters home and she lost power. I got my lantern out and we used it 2 full days. She only had battery candles. This lantern was great. Bright when you needed it. So bought one for her for Christmas. Mother knows best!😉

Battery cartridge doesn't stay in.
Was really looking forward to this latern, cause I had a previous one that lasted me more than 10 years but this one is crap! . Not sure if I got a lemon but it would be nice if I didn't have to tape the battery pack or move it around so the light stays on.Posted a video above of what it does.

The colour of the item did not match the one I already had but the item is ok. I assume the new stock has come in a different colour.
