if you want a super strong extra extra large can/bottle opener this is it! look no further no one else makes anything this size and this strong!!!The only thing that would be a plus would be a magnet on it so you can stick it on the refrigerator. Butdon't worry you won't have any problem finding this in your junk drawer, it's soooo big!!!!

It is great for opening my 46 ounce tomato juice cans. I like how easy it works without bending . I had no problem pouring it out into a plastic container. Would I buy one again, you bet I would, would I recmond it to my friends and family, you bet I will.

I have bent many many can punchers over the years. It is very annoying because it happens when I need to open a can. I looked for and found this punch that looked very sturdy. Some of the reviews said that the hole it made was on the large side. That sounded great after all those years of tiny holes made by a bent punch.I happened to need to open a can shortly after I received this punch. I was thinking how much better this was going to go. Then I realized that the little tab that is supposed to catch the lip of the can was too large to catch. I tried it on several cans and did not find any that had enough of a lip for the tab to work. Part of the issue is the angle between the cutting point and the tab. The cutter portion should be at a smaller angle to the handle (closer to a flat punch) to function properly. I ended up having to use a can opener to make holes long enough to pour from. It made a mess.I do not recommend, it does not work. I would have given it no stars but my rating would not have made it into the average rating.

Got this monster for my mom after she complained that the cheap super market crap hardly does the job. Plus she has arthritis so it's hard for her to punch holes in the typical chicken broth cans. This beast put a stop to all of those issues and put huge gaping holes in cans with ease.

Not a looker... and yeah, it makes big holes, but I kinda like that (easier pouring with fewer holes). Super sturdy. I fully expect it to be the last one of these suckers I ever buy.**update: not long after leaving this review, this opener bent on a 48oz can of chicken broth. Ugh. I dropped it by one star for fooling me, but am hopeful it'll still last a long time and continues to work fine on smaller cans.

Nothing fancy, but incredibly functional. And for some reason, it's really hard to find a decent can opener. I guess it's because of flip tops, but not everything has a flip top, and it's great to have a tool like this when you need one. I predict this will outlast most tools in my kitchen.
