I got a good feeling about this knife...
Awesome, sturdy construction, sharp blade, and super useful for small, every day tasks. It has a good grip, the clip easily slides over the outside of my pocket. It's heavy for it's size, which is a testament to it's construction quality. Mind you, I've just purchased this and have only had it for a few days. I will definitely report back again at a later date if it falls apart within the next year, or if it holds up like a champ over several years. At just over 40 bucks, it would be an excellent value if I kept this for a couple of years of EDC use, and then retired it as like a part of a tackle box or something like that, and got many more use out of it. I don't suspect it will be "BIFL", but I do expect to get at least a year of EDC use out of it given it's reputation.

Looks nice, but works better!
I liked the previous Civivi knife (a Bo) that I bought a while back, so I decided to try another. I liked the look of the carbon fiber and copper foil in epoxy, and, since the price came down, it was not a big risk. I’ve had it just a few weeks now, and it is my current favorite EDC. I use mine at home for random stuff, but at work I use it to cut plastic banding for steel fence posts, to cut plastic wrap on pallets, and other warehouse tasks. It is rugged: in a bit of a hurry with a customer standing there, I levered the blade through some green plastic banding against some fence posts. It was solid and remains solid. It’s a beefy knife, but very comfortable in the hand. The pocket clip is tight and holds the knife securely in place. It is right-handed, tip-up carry. The clip can be switched to the other side. The action is smooth and tight, and remains solid with no play in the blade, even after some serious use over the last month. It is easy to open with the right hand using the flipper tab. The liner lock is also easy to operate with the thumb. Yes, it can be easily opened and closed using one hand, excellent for when you may be up on the ladder or have the left hand otherwise occupied. Further, it can be opened and closed easily even when wearing either work or nitrile gloves. The epoxy handles are muted, and not showy, and I’ve had occasion to scuff it a few times: it has stood up to the abuse really well. After a few weeks, having dropped it on a dirty concrete floor multiple times, the epoxy has held up and resisted scratching quite well. The black finish on the blade and clip is pretty hardy as well, though that has begun to wear through. The handle shape is very comfortable. The blade shape is attractive with plenty of steel going all the way out to the tip. It is stout but practical. The blade grind has a graceful line that is attractive and leaves enough metal in the blade to ensure its strength. There is a very short edge bevel, probably made possible by the blade geometry. This contributes nicely to the overall ruggedness. The blade steel is quite good. I have a Rada sharpener (the one with the overlapping carbon steel discs) that I pass this knife through every few days and it takes a quick and sharp edge, ready for whatever work I will set it to. When recently sharpened, the blade goes through plastic wrap on the pallets easier than paper. After a few days, it is still sharp but does require some quick attention to get the edge back to that condition. This is an attractive knife, rugged and stout, with a unique-looking set of scales. Its design and operation were well-considered. The blade grind is excellent. It is a fantastic knife for work chores, and the price came down just enough to tick off that the final box on my checklist and convince me to put my money down on the barrel-head. This is a good knife. I am quite pleased with the purchase.

High quality pocket knife
Got this knife for my husband. He loves it. He uses it for absolutely everything from cutting an apple to opening packages. The size is perfect for a pocket fitting knife. The knife itself is super sharp. The opening of it is smooth, does not get stuck when flicking it open. It’s a high quality knife no doubt

Good beater knife
This pocket knife is a great entry point into pocket knifes. You don't have to feel bad for doing things with it that you shouldn't do with a pocket knife. The blade holds an edge fairly well, but also sharpens nice and easy as well. Great blade length to carry in general. I am not a big fan of liner locks in general, but this one was one of the better ones at this price.
