Great little knowledge book
Bought for a weekend break to cambridge-easy to follow and points out basic interesting facts on the way -pocket size. Perfect if you just want to stroll around and not miss anything- not good if you want a in depth history book of the city.

Amazing guide
I’ve known Cambridge as a shopping destination for many years & bought this guide as a gift for a friend. However I have kept it for myself !The book has eight walks around the city each detailing lots of historic facts, architectural interests & places to visit. The maps are very clear & simple with the photography nicely detailing your journey. Also the book is a cute size, fitting neatly in your hand. Cannot wait to visit all the hidden gems that Cambridge has to offer...

Great guide book
This is such a great little guide book. I have lived in Cambridge for 18 years but using this guide have discovered things which I never knew existed. Each walk takes about 3 hours, but with snack stops etc. every minute is enjoyable. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Fascinating book
I've lived in Cambridge for decades but found so much more about it from this book. The author has obviously done a great deal of research. The book is well laid out and I'm sure visitors and locals alike will enjoy it.

Find out about things in Cambridge you didn't know were there
Have done parts of two of the walks so far and discovered things I never noticed or knew about in familiar Cambridge streets. Book is a small format which fits easily into a jacket pocket. Lots of photos which help in finding the places mentioned in the book. Looking forward to doing some more of the walks.

A BIG Disappointment
Received this well-written and most engaging guidebook, but found 3 colleges on Route 1 Backs Colleges Walk inaccessible and closed to the public, this on a Monday morning in August. So what we had planned to do with the help of this book was unachievable. Very frustrating. So disappointing.

Fabulous walking tour of Cambridge
This is such a fabulous book. We did all 8 of the walks over 'lockdown', including the 'Kite' area and Mill Road. I loved the details, hidden away plaques and interesting 'never noticed before' details, with facts often about characters or incidences/social history. Each walk takes around 3 hours I would say.
