Works great

These worked fairly well when I got cauliflower ear recently. The magnets are very strong and made my ear start to hurt after about 30 minutes, but I was able to fix this by taking a piece of styrofoam about half a centimeter thick, cutting it to match the shape of the buds, and putting it on the backside of the ear between the buds. Over time, the styrofoam compressed, so I made another one and added it between the buds. Now, I have a set of fully compressed styrofoam pieces so I'm all set to go if I get cauliflower ear again!

They apply a good amount of pressure and kept my ear from refilling after being drained. This is huge for me because usually I need them drained more than once and it's a hassle. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it says "Caulibuds will fit comfortably in your ears but most importantly, stay in place during hard workouts and training" Since it's designed for cauliflower ear I assume they mean grappling training. They absolutely will not stay in place during a hard roll. Probably not that safe to wear them on the mats anyway. They were also a little pricey, but I got what I expected and it's already paying off. I've already been recommending them to my training partners.

A lot of people are complaining about them being too strong- I find them to be just fine. They come with foam pads allowing you to space the magnets a bit and reduce pressure. What I am also doing is putting a small magnet on the back and a large magnet on the front with a foam pad and this is very comfortable. I have had this on my ear for about an hour with no pain or issues whatsoever.We did drain my ear and I don't think this would make draining unnecessary, however it will prevent the ear from re-filling with fluid as it heals.

I’ve tried magnets from multiple places and none have worked nearly as well as these Caulibuds. They stay on all night after draining my ear and I toss and turn a lot. Well worth the money. I just wish I would have found them sooner.

I’ve wrestled since I was 5 and am a Black Belt in Jiu-Jitsu. I was trying to take care of a small bit of cauliflower ear on the outside and used these magnets. When I took them off, my ear is now extremely swollen and I’m hoping I can get to a Dr. to help reverse whatever damage these magnets have done.Don’t use this item. I’ve drained my ears many times before and with excellent results. This time I used this product I ended up with a much larger problem on my hands.Update: Some of the swelling went down, but these magnets put blisters on the front and back of my ear as well as made the cauliflower worse than it was. I also have lost feeling on both the back and front side of my ear where the magnet was for the time being (it's been two weeks).

I appreciate Caulibuds for sending me another order when my shipment was stolen, they responded very quickly. Honest review, bought this for my boyfriend for his cauliflower ear and it was after he had drained it twice. we had used earth magnets prior and it was way too strong it left an indent and left his ear raw so I decided to get these. I wouldn’t say it doesn’t work because it does and it is strong! But I think it works better to prevent cauliflower ear especially when it’s irritated/swollen. Because his ear was so badly cauliflowered on the inside of his ear the magnet didn’t stop it from filling back up because it didn’t fit inside the crevices of the ear closer to the eardrum. Unfortunelty it had to be drained by a doctor but he will continue to use these to prevent future flare ups

product works well, but for the same price if not cheaper, the SenseAid provide the exact same performance, and it comes with 8 magnets instead of 4. Not good value for money. Simple product, that works well but takes a bit of learning curve.
