Some stores around me don’t not offer jugs, only place to find 3-case jugs and for CHEAP! the closet store brand isn’t about 40 for Dextron 6. So I recommend.

So far I am highly impressed. I used this fluid on a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer ES with 109k on it. This CVT fluid is a fraction of what the OEM JT1 fluid would cost. I did this with a pan drop and filter change as well. Thank you for other reviewers who noted that transmission shifted roughly after the change. That way I didn't lose it the first few miles thinking I had killed my CVT. I observed this too. Mine took about 30 miles to finally even out and now the change is dramatic. I must note I just got this car and I am not sure if fluid or filter was ever done but the CVT is transitioning between ratios much smoother now. I did have a lot of whine in my CVT before the change and I have not noticed any yet but I really have yet to take a long trip to warm the CVT enough to get the whine. I will try to update on my next long trip or the next change at 140k Miles Edit 1: about 1200 miles in a things are going well. I wanted to update that the CVT whine is gone. took a 2-hour drive to get good and warm but no whine like before. CVT is nice and quiet. Will update again if anything major happens before 140k Edit 2: CVT strikes This fluid is done by 22k miles. about 8k before recommended service. On a longer trip the whine came back and got a temp warning for transmission. Slowed down and it went away but checking fluid color is pretty bad and I have about 22k on fluid so going to change at every 20k now. I don't believe this is the fluid's fault I think this is just the nature of the CVT. CVT is still shifting good and no chattering just fluid is broken down quicker than expected. I do live in Texas and high heat may have added to this but not sure. I will how ever be using Castrol again as I think its doing pretty good so far.

Honestly can any of us really review this product? Without doing an oil analysis after thousands of miles I can’t tell you if it’s good or not. What I do trust is the brand, I know the fluid is the right spec and I liked the price. That’s what I bought it. I’m using it for DOT III power steering fluid if that matters.

2014 Nissan Rogue S (NS-3)had slipping issues. Complete drain and fill including flushing out the torque converter. Cycled the new fluid 400-500 km. Worked great! $35 quart at the stealership Yikes!
