I think so....I don't do well with oily products but I like the moisturizing ones....I still use this morning & night :)

According to test strips, it's a pH of 6. While slightly above ideal pH of 5.5, it is still considered a low pH cleanser. It contains none of the most common acne/irritation triggers, and should be fine for all but the most compromised of moisture barriers.

Lots of long worded ingredients but I don't think any are fats or oil

Q: Can I use this as a body wash for the shower instead? I get acne on my back, chest and arms. Would this still work?

You could, but Neutrogena makes a body wash for acne on arms, chest, and back that might work better for that. I’ve used it and it works very well!
