Great value and clear picture
The media could not be loaded. I bought this camera for my husband and I to use when we go ice fishing. When the water is deep and we can’t see the bottom, this works great to scout out the fish for us. We use it at well-below freezing temps and it works like a dream. The video we took doesn’t do it justice. The picture is far clearer than we expected, especially for being underwater. The bright light also seems to attract fish, which is an added bonus. You can see a small school of fish swimming near the end of the video. Right after we finished recording, a large trout approached the camera, then bit our bait! We’re glad we purchased this camera.

No SD card slot/record function. Make sure you get the right model if you want to record/save your videos.
Just received this device. Tested it out of the box, but have not yet taken it to the lake. Like all the other reviews here, I can say that the picture quality is surprisingly good for composite video (i.e. non-HD). Obviously, it's video only with no sound in case anyone is wondering. I knew before buying the product. The Lithium battery still held a charge upon unboxing and was able to test the device right away and ensured everything was in working order. The instruction manual is pretty basic, but you don't really need it to figure out how to connect the cables (which are individually labeled). The one thing that has me stumped, though, are the little metal clips and circular fasteners that come with the device. I can't figure out what they're for, and there are no references to them in the manual at all. Also, the float that it comes with does not have a hole on the top part of the "stem" where you're supposed to attach the fishing line, as it states in the manual. There is a hole on the bottom of the float, though (which seems backwards). For the fisherman out there, y'all can probably figure out how to rig the camera to a fishing pole for dropping down into the water from a boat, which me and my husband will do as soon as we can try this out on the lake. Will primarily use this in conjunction with on-board sonar/fish finder to confirm whether there are actually fish when the sonar pings. Great value as compared to $$$ you would spend on advanced sonars (HDI, down image, side scan, Panoptix, etc.) if all you really want to do is confirm whether the spot you marked has fish. Overall, seems to be a pretty neat device at a great price.

Cool camera
Okay so I got a chance to use the camera a couple of days ago while ice fishing. It was pretty cool being able to see what was going on under the ice. I watched a few videos on YouTube before using it and it's true that when the lights are on it becomes harder to see because it lights up all of the small particles floating around. But with the light off the picture is great. The one drawback I found was that if there is more than one person in your shanty only one of you will see the best picture. You have to be at just the right angle to see the best video on screen. Basically it's a one person monitor. The others will be able to see the picture but it will probably look black and white or monochrome, at least that was my experience.

For what it is, it's great. No instructions on how to attach it to a pole. Now think about it you can't cast it. We all want to see it live, but if your not trolling in clear water. Think again about this one.

5 uses and broken..
It worked for about 5 times, than I turned it on one day and this is what I saw. I thought maybe the batteries were low because I kept it in the ice shanty. Nope fully charged batteries and it still does it. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO CONTACT THIS COMPANY? I just feel like it should have lasted a little longer than 5 uses. I hope I am contacted.

Best Underwater Camera Ever!
This is the best underwater camera and at a great price. I had very low hopes for it but I figured I would give it a try. Well, i was VERY pleasantly surprised when it surpassed all of my expectations. It is easy and intuitive to use and provides a great picture. And the lighting is fantastic. i was expecting it to not be very bright, but those LED lights bring light to everything you are looking at. Would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Worked right out of the box
It is easy to set up. The clarity is excellent. I have only played with it in our pool, but I will be taking it to the river soon to give it a real test. I would have given it 5 stars if there had better instructions on how to use it while fishing. Also, a good video showing it in use underwater and rigged for fishing would have helped.
