I love this product!! I have thinning/bald spots around the crown, middle of my head due to menopause and a doctor who decided testosterone was a good idea for a woman. WOMEN SHOULD NEVER TAKE IT!!! My hair dresser styles my hair and sprays the wet powder onto my scalp UNDERNEATH my existing hair to camouflage the thinning and baldness. After applying it she blows the wet portion dry on very low. It works so well that others cant tell I have thin spots or bald spots at all! The spray color becomes powder and adheres to the scalp. It stays on your scalp until you choose to wash it out. It does leave residue on your pillow cases so have plenty of shout and plenty of extra pillow cases. You will find the product on your face when u wake up as well. I keep wet wipes in my bathroom to use each morning. I would not wear white shirts or tops with collars-especially knit tops-it can stain them. This product is wonderful for BOTH men and women. The trick is to find the color spray that matches your hair color. For me, I change my hair color to match my spray powder. The colors are dark brown, medium brown, and blonde/white. The browns are quite dark. I have been treating my hormonal hair loss with a trained dermatologist and am having really great results-slow but results.

Very messy to apply after spraying on your head you can’t touch your hair or it will stain your hand and in my case the shade I chose was black and it was difficult to wash off from my hands and it also stained my white sink. You also can’t return the item.

Well, I received the wrong color and there’s no way to return this product. But the product itself is really a good product. I’ve used it for a while. Just be aware when you’re ordering. I can’t seem to find a place to contact them.

This stuff covers very well but it makes my head itch. I couldn't wait to get home to wash it out. It is very cheap and does a great job of covering white roots so I guess it is worth a try. Maybe you will have better luck than I did. If you are like me and have a can of this stuff and it makes your head itch too much to use you may want to try what I just tried today. I sprayed it into the plastic lid and used a large make-up brush to apply it to my roots. This work well to cover the roots, I had better control and was able to put it on just the white roots and in this small precisely applied amount, it did not make my head itch and it did not wipe off on my pillow.

Over all I really like this product. It sprays on fairly easily and has a natural matte finish. My hair looks much thicker and fuller right away. It also helps hold back-combing (teasing) in my hair. Typically what I do is spray it on after blow drying & Curling (if I curl that day). I spray at the roots especially near the front of my hairline where it is thinning. I will then go in and do some back-combing for extra volume at the roots. I will then finish with a light hair spray. Some helpful tips when using this product: Shake it really good before applying. Don't over apply and hold the can about 6" from where you want to spray. Don't use this in a hairstyle in-which you'll be running your fingers through your hair. It will rub off on your hands. If you're using a good amount on your head, either wash your hair before bed or use an old pillow case since it may rub off on your pillow. Also for women who wear makeup, apply this product before you apply your makeup. You may get some on your forehead if you are spraying near your hairline. I simply used a damp tissue to wipe off my forehead after spraying and before applying my makeup. This would be an great product for women's up-do's for women with finner hair! It really gives the allusion of fuller thicker hair! Here are the Pros and Cons... Pros: It gives a nice even color with added thickness. It doesn't clump on the scalp like some of the colored powders I have used, do sometimes. Cons: The smell is just Okay for me. Its not good but not terrible either. It can be messy when applying and will rub off on your fingers pillows or whatever touches it.

I've always wanted to try spray on hair, so I just had to order this Jerome Russell stuff from amazon. I tried the dark brown, because that's what matches my natural hair color, but there are many to choose from. Pros: +Comes in a variety of colors +Covers even the toughest bald spots +Makes you feel awesome +One bottle covers an entire head three times, or probably covers a small balding spot about 10-20 times. +Every makeup crew for movies should get a bunch of these +Has a powerful spray +Spray has good accuracy, so you don't need to protect your clothes (even though I did) +Washes off easily, leaving no trace Cons: -Do not go outside in the rain! Now I understand why the competing products show people swimming underwater. If you swim underwater, you'll turn the whole pool brown -Leaves a residue in the bathtub when you wash it off -Gets your fingers black if you touch your hair -Smells really bad, like glue or paint (but just when you're applying it, after you apply it, there's no smell)

I’ve tried many different sprays, creams, powders, etc. for thinning hair (my hair is awful!), so I’ve got a LOT of experience with this stuff. Believe me when I say that this is good coverage (which makes me sad!) because this is also the absolute MESSIEST product I’ve EVER used and it smears horribly everywhere!! All on my hands, face, shoulders, counter, floor, feet (because I didn’t realize the mess on the floor until I walked to get cleaner for the counter and saw footprints!) Literally went back into the shower to wash it out immediately and then had to clean the shower because it just smears with water. I will NEVER spray this in my house again and highly recommend a hazmat suit & floor tarp if you choose to use this spray!

COVID cost me a lot of hair and what grew back in was sickly and thin. This product works well are thickening my hair and doesn't cost the moon. It does what I need it to do and doesn't fade out
