We decided to toss our old fruit bowl, which was nice, for this nicer one. It's a plastic molded piece (we chose white) that feels cheap, but looks expensive from far away. We occasionally will have lots of bananas, lemons, and other things in the bowl, and it looks nice when it's full.This fruit bowl is large at 14" wide and 3.5" tall. If you put this on a small table, the bowl will look disproportionately large, so we recommend that wherever you put this that you have a large enough counter space.Overall, we got this at a good price, and we're happy with how it looks.

One of my favorite purchases! I buy a ton of fruit each week & was getting tired of the metal fruit bowls & banana hangers & wanted something different. Well, this is certainly different! This is a very LARGE bowl with a striking design & bright green playful, fun color! It is a large bowl, so be sure to take measurements before you buy. It takes up a lot of real estate on my counter, in my very tiny kitchen, but it makes me happy to see it there.I love that I can put a large array of fruit in there at one time & be able to separate them all, so they don't get squished. Due to the open spaces, the air flow is fantastic, so they can all ripen properly. It is made of plastic & is so easy to wipe down & clean. It's appearance doesn't make you think of plastic either, all you see is a great looking design. It is sturdy and will always look like new as long as you don't abuse it. I purchased this exactly a year ago & it still looks like the day it arrived!If I didn't love it so much as a fruit bowl, I would be happy to put it on my dining room table as a centerpiece. It is that awesome & cool looking! So many great colors ... don't hesitate to buy this!!-- 5 stars plus.-- Highly recommend.

Like many others have said, this bowl SURPRISES with its sturdy build (considering it isn't metal) AND vibrant color. The size is large enough to hold huge mangoes, pomegranates, bananas and MORE all together in the bowl. I like that the bowl is naturally "aerated" so fruits won't overheat and spoil as fast. The edges aren't sharp enough to cut into the fruit like some of the metal and wire bowls do.This red Mueller bowl has a playful look that is exactly what I wanted in my contemporary kitchen with the identical shade of red.Comically, we already had a Michael Aron bowl on order (at $500!) when this $20 bowl arrived. We decided to keep BOTH, and I will not be putting the Mueller bowl away EVER - it is that practical, colorful and useful.

I have not had a fruit bowl in a long time. This one works well. Looks good and is heavy plastic. Easy to keep clean.

When this first arrived, I wasn't so sure I had made a good choice. It was bigger and simpler looking than I expected... But now?? We almost always have this basket filled to overflowing. The crisscross pattern gives it a simple, but nice style with the fruit in it. It fits perfectly on the mini section of counter between the fridge and stove.My only complaint, (and not one worthy of removing a star because it is my families fault), is that they let some oranges go bad.. and it seems to have left a discoloration on part of the white plastic. It is covered 98% of the time so it doesn't bother me. Just thought I would note it in case it matters to anyone else.
