Good and sturdy. While I was gone one day my neighbours decided to play badminton I’ve our adjoining 4 ft fence, the husband hopes over our fence ( I have cameras ;) ) and proceeds to move all the items in my garden out of his way and trips on this ground spike in the process, at this point the husband (quite a large fellow) begins to tug, pull, and dead lift this spike out of my garden (I assume he had no idea it was a screw 😂 ) to no avail. After a good two minutes he declares the ground spike the victor and now knackered and sweating continues to loss the game of badminton to his wife spactacularly.Summary: if it can stop that fat man it can stop your dog 👍🏻 🇬🇧

We’ve only used it once but it went into the clay at the edge of the stream easily (see pic) and removed easily but still held his pulling well!Our dog doesn’t like other dogs and the picnic site/stream borders a public footpath. Usually this means one of us has to hold him on lead the whole time the kids are swimming, which isn’t exactly relaxing.This product was great as we could tie him on a shortened leash to keep him off the footpath and next to our picnic while we all paddled. We still had to fend off a few unleashed dogs from approaching him - he lunged a couple of times when they got too close and the tie down held firm.He is an 8 year old rottie and weighs about 40kg (he’s lost a bit of weight recently).

I have always doubted these but finally decided to use one to take my dog away camping for the first time. My Dog is a strong 33kg chocolate lab and there is no way he was going to get this out the ground. The plastic cap is a great feature that stops the screw from being pulled side to side and loosening. The only way a dog will pull this out is if the ground is too soft.

It’s more expensive than some others in the market but you pay for what you get. It feels very secure and robust. On the one occasion my dog made a dash for it when camping, her harness broke (not ideal) whilst the stake remained securely in the ground. An excellent product which was perfect for our camping trip.

Bought this to clip my Beagle and Husky onto as we own a motorhome so when were on site they can be outside. Worked brillant they both were pulling on it at times when dogs came past, that's about 50kg weight. It did not move the tie from the ground at all. Would definetly recommend
