Nice
Nice book, laid out nicely. Could do with more finger foods for between 9 to 11 months. Overall it had some good recipes in it and easy to follow.

I bought this for my pregnant food obsessed friend. Her boy is over 1 now and she has made almost everything for him and he has gobbled most of it very happily. My friend loves the book, I'm really pleased I got it for her.

Not what I expected
Update: While I still think some of the recipes (especially later in the book) are too fussy, I did try several of the purees when my baby started solids and I was pleasantly surprised. They’re quite delicious and simple to make. I liked the introduction of spices early on and my daughter seems to appreciate them too.——————————————————It’s not what I expected. I bought this book without reading the reviews, just based on some recipes I had seen on the author’s blog that I liked. I ordered the book on a whim, expecting it to be similar to the blog, with easy simple recipes for babies and toddlers.Instead, I find most of the recipes overly complicated, with ingredients you wouldn’t necessarily have in your pantry. If I’m going to be making fancy meals with numerous ingredients which take an hour to make (roasted root veggie puree with quinoa) for a 9 month old, I might as well just be feeding my kids the same meals that we eat.Maybe my mistake for not reading the reviews first, but this book is not for us.
