Awesome for such a tiny flashlight. *by J***P on Reviewed in the United States on November 9, 2015* The description says virtually indestructible. I can attest to how hardy this flashlight is. The flashlight was accidentally dropped from up above a 8 foot ceiling directly onto a concrete floor while it was on. It probably fell 10 foot. The light did go out, but reseating the end cap by unscrewing and rescrewing; it came on straight away and has worked flawlessly ever since. Some paint chipped off from both ends during the fall but the casing did not dent or buckle. Glass and reflector are pristine. Amazing.I like that it has a lower output level. This flashlight is so bright it can cause snow blindness from the reflection off a wall in close quarters. The lower output level is very useful when working in tight quarters. Several tradesmen have asked me the make of the flashlight after seeing it in operation. It outshines flashlights that are 2-3 times its size.People are often puzzled how a small flashlight with a single LED can be so bright. Their lights have multiple LED's and they can't understand how one LED can outshine multiple LED's. I explain it comes down to the quality of the LED.I can't imagine a smaller flashlight that utilizes 18650 cells. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You Get What You Paid For. *by J***L on Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2010* Plain and simple, this flashlight rocks.This TK11 R5 is the latest variant of the Tk11 model in the Fenix Tank Series, hence the "TK". The R5 designates the latest Light Emitting Diode(LED) emitter from Cree. The first and second being the Q5 and R2, respectively. What this means is that the R5 is more efficient in converting battery juice into light, whether it be in the form of longer runtime with equal output or higher output under the same runtime as older model(s). In the R5's case, higher light output.As mentioned above, this is a "tank" series from Fenix, meaning that it can take quite a beating and will remain operable. Not quite on par with Surefire, for those of you familiar with it, but it's pretty damn close. Anyone with reservations can go on youtube and watch the torture test of the TK1, from which the TK10, 11 and 12 are derived.As the title states, you get what you paid for. What I mean is that Fenix is a Chinese company with manufacturing done overseas. Given that this commands a hefty chunk out of a Benjamin, it's a quality product. People think that all Chinese manufactured goods are garbage, not true. Garbage Chinese goods are the results of companies wanting to make a high profit margin by commanding a super low budget for the manufacturer to work with. You paid them crap, they put out crap, as is within the proposed budget. Fenix is an independent company solely concentrated on high quality LED flashlights. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a great torch *by D***G on Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2013* This light rocks on an AR and/or a shotgun. I have a Surefire M95 torch upgraded with an LED system and it does not even come close to this beam. You can really light up and flood a target 100 yards away easy with this. Most people that do their homework will find out this is an excellent, well built and durable tactical light. I also like the fact that one can use ONE 18650 3.7v Li-ion rechargeable battery instead of 2 CR-123 power cells. I recommend the Tenergy brand 18650 2600mAH battery. These seem to be the best.Back to the light. It's a great piece of equipment. You can also get a Fenix tape switch adapter with this as well. I know Fenix and Foursevens are giving Surefire a run for the money in the tactical dept. I also own other Fenix lights that I use daily at work. I would go through 2 Surefire lights a year at work until I found the Fenix lights.
