Does not make you "perch" on top of the saddle but does mold down around you. I have a 6hr trail ride coming up so very excited for this.

The gel seat cushion fits saddle well. Please see product website on how to secure side straps up and wedged into the tree of the saddle. Product lacks insert or instructions on box…When will you be coming out with a western version?

The strap that hooks under the saddle doesn’t connect to anything. I had to tie it in a knot.

I bought a previous version of this seat saver (the suede version) to ride my psycho horse. I have a size 18 Wintec jumping saddle so I bought the Large. I currently bought it to specifically use on my cross country riding vacation in Ireland. You must use their saddles (that fit their horses) and since many people use them, they're pretty slippery. I know other people have no problem with that but for me, it makes me feel very unsafe to slide when I ride . This seat saver was great. I didn't slide and I stuck when I jumped a jump without stirrups. I did have initial issues on how to attach it. I recommend looking at the video on Youtube to see how to attach it. I actually was attaching it incorrectly and I couldn't figure out what to do with the two short straps. It's great. I highly recommend it. It worked exactly like it was supposed to work.

My first two ish rides in it I absolutely hated it but then I got used to it and it’s super comfortable and easy to use.
