can I use this google mini for a chime on my nest doorbell?

Yes it can be used as such if you have the battery powered nest doorbell camera. You just have to go to the Google home app and set it as such. I have one in my basement and it works great

I purchased a nest doorbell and is using it with the ac adapter so the "chime" doesn't ring inside the home, if I get the mini google, would it work?

I believe so. My chime did not work and Google notifies me when the doorbell is rung.

How do I remove to reset my google mini? In the first google mini backpack you would use a flathead screwdriver. Is it the same

If you mean factory reset, you do not need to remove to do this. With the 2nd generation, you switch the mic button to off and then hold your finger on the center of the speaker (where the lights are) until you hear a chime that it has reset.

Surprisingly Good!

I really didn't expect much from this, but it was simple to install and works well. It didn't sag in the socket and there were no issues with it turning off or anything odd.It's still going strong. Very handy little thing.
