## Questions & Answers

**Q: I have a reef octopus hob bh2000 is this the right replacment pump for it? My skimmer is about 4 years old. Thanks**
A: Not sure able that model , I had a 150 INT, but I did see a web site ( Marine Depot) that said it is a replacement for the bh2000. Hope this helps

**Q: My reef octopus calcium reactor has an otp 2000 pump that has died. Will this pump work**
A: Not sure if it will work with reactor. I bought mine for the reef Octopus skimmer , to replace pump the failed. Probably same fittings or can be adapted.
Hope this helps,
Ed

**Q: I have about an inch of water in my basement the plumber said I needed a skimmer pump. Will this one work?**
A: it will work if its installed in a sump but wont suck the water off the floor.

**Q: Will this be a direct replacement for a reef octopus 150 skimmer**
A: As far as I can tell, yes, it is...BTW, if you have the bucks and want a skimmer that actually skims, get a NYOS...I have one that has been running for 4 years and the stuff it produces is the color of really dirty motor oil. BEST SKIMMER EVER (and I've tried most of them, Red Sea, Reef Octopus, Eshoppes, and a few that aren't made anymore) If you think about your investment in corals and fish, $500 isn't so bad for such a crucial element of your system
