Performs basic functions
I purchased to read and reset codes which it does just fine. Does provide additional data but when I had to use it recently for a troubleshooting issue, not a lot of help and couple of the graphs are too condensed to really be useful. Definitely doesn't give you the the options to manipulate any of the functions, say troubleshoot a EVAP system by closing the purge valve or graphs to diagnose a MAF sensor. I wish I would have watched some of the reviews on YouTube before purchasing. I might have spent the extra money for a more optioned scanner.

easy to understand and use once updated/installed
bought device in order to quickly determine "check engine light (CEL)" issues.bought "FIXD" app but returned it before even trying as it only does engine codes, which for $20 thats fine, but the CEL light may be on for trans/abs/srs issues, which can't be seen or cleared with "FIXD". As for the CRP-123, once needed info is downloaded via windows (did not work through chromebook for me), you simply plug in reader as instructed (read instructions of operation first) then follow the prompts. So far its a great product for the price, it can't be beat due to the fact that you're going to spend as much going to the dealer once. And VIP or Autozone will read it for free.

good product
I am not tech savvy, and I admit it. I was scared at first, but once I learned how to use this, I got along with it just grand.

Euro heaven.
If you own a European thisbis the scan you need! It reads airbag codes, electronic brakes and much much more! It is not the top of their line up unit, but it does way more than most!
