Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble - Nintendo Super NES

If you loved Donkey Kong Country 1 or 2 (OR BOTH!!!) then you will definately love this addition to the beloved snes Franchise! It takes what the first two have done and runs with it to make a spectacular third installment to the revered trilogy for snes! You play as Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong! We have been introduced to Dixie Kong in the second installment but now we have Kiddy Kong! Rest assured what this toddler lacks in age he makes up for in sheer strength and size! Think of him as a toddler version of Donkey Kong! It ends the snes trilogy in a very good way! It is definately a fun and addicting addition to the beloved franchise! I highly recommend it 10/10

I got one in “good” condition without a case. Just the cartridge with a connection protector. Works great.

This is my favorite snes game. I bought it recently because my original game was tragically given to goodwill by my mother when I was young, and I’m so glad I have it again. The cartridge pins needed a little cleaning, which is to be expected with a system this old, but after that the game booted up with no issues, and several days of giddy nostalgia commenced. It’s a platformer game, but even if you’re more of an FPS kind of gal it’s still a great game and I encourage you to try and beat it (and find the Easter egg ending). I guarantee you’ll have a good time.

Dk country 3 is an ok platformer; but is nowhere neer as good as one or two. The worst part is the characters. For a seires called donkey Kong county; why is he only playable in one friggin game. Instead we get a baby Kong and Dixie Kong from the last game. Its ok but is abit harder and has a lazy story.

The SNES game cart that I received simply did not work while all my other SNES game carts worked and played with no trouble.

Good game! Came as described (in Very Good condition), with box, cartridge, and manual, and had no problems starting it on my SNES.I just finished the second world, and this will probably end up being my least favorite of the DKC trilogy - Kiddy's mechanics are tough to grasp, but Dixie's are easy (I've already played DKC2 so I'm familiar with her). I'm not really fond of Ellie, I think she replaced Rambi (who I LOVE), but I see that Squawks, Squitter, and Enguarde are back from DKC2, so that's good. A slight pet peeve is that the barrel blasting sounds are different, noticeably longer. Also slightly peeved that the bees (I think they're called Buzzers?) have a different design, they look more mechanical.I do like the fact that you can explore more of the islands rather than just going straight to the next level, as well as save your game for free. There's lots of stuff to explore, so I think I'll enjoy the rest of it. The music is pretty good too.Overall, it's a pretty good game.
