Spend the extra few buck to get the Guard Dog brand. We have the cheaper ones at my office and people trip over them all the time as they are twice the height of the Guard Dog. The Guard Dog’s are made with much more durable material too. The Towncenter outside my office has used them for years to shelter the AC cables it uses to power a skating rink it sets up in the winter. They are subject to constant foot traffic and have held up for years.

Professional cable covers that are skid resistant on their top surface.I use them to charge my car and the cable crosses the sidewalk. The underside is slippery though so they skid slightly if pedestrians bump them instead of stepping directly down - not ideal!Checkers makes some small stickier rubber buttons that go into reliefs on the underside that solve the problem for another $20 per section! They should include them or add some grip to the underside material. Others have had a similar problem. If you drive on them a lot they supposedly start sticking w/o buttons

Rugged, spans my sidewalk, able to put fiber cable and two garden hoses in it with no issues. Has stayed in place pretty well.

Purchased these for our HOA christmas lighting to run extension cords across the road. You have to tape down these devices down to the road.

This is a very sturdy cable protector. It's simple to setup, easy to use and stands up to a good bit of abuse.
