Brought this to work out angles for a new stair rail, never done one before but this was easy to use and reads out the angle precisely. Would recommend to anyone who wants an easy life working out angles.

Inaccurate
Didn’t give the same reading for a ninety degree angle no matter how many times I tried it.Total waste of money

Sorely surprised
I really hate leaving bad reviews but in this case I feel if I was looking at this again I would like a honest opinion before spending my money. I am so sorry to have to do this but I bought it as I needed to cut a few angles at 30 degrees and this was way way off my chop saw has 30 degrees on it but I wanted to mark a line to see how accurate it was but was I surprised just how far out this gauge was and the slightest touch would throw it off by 10 to 30 degrees on the screen.

Not square out of the box or after resetting
Straight out of the box it was reading a 90 degree angle at 84 degrees and after zeroing it at true 90 degreees and folding it back up perfectly square it was reading at 4 degrees not accurate at all
