Thank you for posting your question. With proper care our charcoal deodorizers bags will remain effective for at least 2 years from the day that they were first rejuvenate. Just keep them in a dry place and reactivate them at least once a month outside in the sun. Once you are finished with the product, you can go ahead and use it as a fertilizer. No waste. Q: Is this product as good as airjoi

I don't know what airjoi is or if it's a brand, but common sense would tell you the same internal Bamboo charcoal, same results. I have had 4 for about 6 months now they work great, recharge them in the direct sunlight for 4 to 8 hours and keep on removing mold smells and rank odors.

Q: Does it get rid of formaldehyde odors?

it should get rid of the formaldehyde order because they charcoal activated charcoal pieces in it so charcoal get rid of all the toxic in the in the air so it should help actually it should get rid of that odor because of the charcoal in it. I have them in my car and my car smell I'm nothing just fresh and I work in the food industry delivering food.
