Ramblewood GC2-43P (LPG/Propane Gas) high efficiency 2 burner gas cooktop

I Gave this three stars before because I didn't think I was going to get any tech help. I couldn't get the stove going and thought it was defective. I eventually got a number from Amazon and called it. I got a service but a couple of hours later 9PM a guy called me from Japan! He didn't solve my problem but wow... So I figured out on my own later that you can't hook it up, turn on the gas and check with a lighter. It won't work. So I'll say this for the stove - It's a beautiful stove and the folks who build it truly seem to care about their product. On the flip side, it comes with some of the worst documentation that I have ever seen. The directions said there was a plug installed under pressure that I had to remove. I couldn't find a plug installed under pressure. There was an obvious plastic cap.... Bad translation of a worker under pressure putting on caps maybe?

This is a nice compact 2 burner stove, I had it installed into a solid surface countertop attached to a propane source on the first floor. Looks as advertised. It is aesthetically pleasing and good simple design. However, only one of the burners work. No gas seems to flow to one of the burners and thus will not light.I couldn't return the unit to Ramblewood due to the installation being after the return by date. Mounts easy, connects to regular BBQ propane tank with the right adapter. Not too much adjustment capability really, then again we usually cook one pot meals so for quick heating we use the large hob and for simmering the smaller one. It's a solid, affordable unit that I'd recommend. Easy to clean as well, bonus points for that.

We used this in a small guesthouse that runs on propane. So far, so good. The knobs operate with a bit of a cheap feel but the ignitor lights the flame every time and the rest of the unit feels and works very solid. Given a small kitchen where you don't want 4 burners, this is very ideal.

The stove looks great. Nicely designed and well made. Only negative comment is that after a couple of days it had spots of what looked like rust. They wipe of, but doesn't seem like that should happen with quality stainless steel. Have tried wiping it with vegetable oil to see if it prevents the spotting.

The base of this unit is lightly built. I had expected something more rugged for the money. The sparker also relies on a d or c-cell battery. I had expected a 110 plug-in. Perhaps I missed this in the description. It seems to put out a decent about of heat. We shall see how it works out.

We took out our old rickety, rusty gas stove and made shelves for extra storage. On the counter top, we installed this gas cooktop. We love it, it is very easy to clean and made of high quality materials. Perfect to use since all I use is the cooktop...I don't bake and don't need the oven. I have an outside gas bbq that takes care of baking chicken and grilling steaks.

It is ok, instructions for propane were no clear, it is cheaply made. The flair on the connection had a small crack which caused leaking of propane. Over priced for what you get.
