昔からあるし老舗と思い信頼して購入しましたが、照らした先の中央に大きな影が出来ます。影をなくそうとするとスポットまで絞る必要があります。LEDだからか？購入して失敗しました。

Buscaba una linterna potente y durable. Es bien conocida la calidad de la marca. Es por ello que me decidí por ella. Aunque las baterías no son recargables, la relación precio-calidad es excelente. Puede alumbrar fácilmente hasta 300 metros sin problemas e, incluso, el haz de luz se puede ver durante la noche. Al ser una lámpara de 3 baterías tipo D, y de cuerpo de aluminio, fácilmente se puede usar como arma en, emergencias.

Ho acquistato questa torcia dopo decine di prodotti cinesi che promettevano migliaia di lumen in realtà inesistenti. Questo prodotto di fattura USA è solido e perfetto. con eccellente luminosità. Temevo consumasse molto ma invece le pile durano tanto.

Way better than I dared imagine. Lights up the entire village, there's a nice weight and size to it so it can also be used for protection against warewolfs, trespassers and grandma. Would be nice to get a rubber grip to put on it in order to not freeze my hand off when it's cold outside as the metal seem to get to around -240 Kelvin (this, however, has nothing to do with the flashlight since it's just how metal works in contact with low temperatures). The only negative thing I can say about this flashlight is that my GF gets embarrased when I bring it when we walk the dog after sunset. Partly because of the size of it (she thinks it's too big to have in my pocket, it keeps falling out and pulls my pants down every other minute) but also beause it lights up so very good that there's just no way to stay incognito with it turned on. A great feature I just happened to stumble upon (don't know if it says anything about this in the instruction manual, that I surely didn't read because I'm not only a man but also a highlander) was that if the entire front part is removed (it screws of easily if you just keep going) you get a superb lightsource that lights up an entire room evenly. The light then doesn't get focused into a small spot. Perfect to set on a table in power outs, for camping (if you're a hipster that can't even start a bonfire) and also for working on the car if the person in charge of holding the flashlight tends to nod off. You'll also get a considerate amount of runtime out of each battery change (around 35 hours). And that's great as I just now are perfecting my shaddow puppetry.

Great torch, as I'd expect from Maglite. We have a 2D and a 3D version, and there is no discernible difference in brightness, I assume the 3D will just last longer as it has the extra battery. (It's too early to rate battery life, hence I gave it 3* as there wasn't an option to say "Don't know". If it matters to you, the colour is more of a lilac-grey than a "true" grey, but that doesn't bother me in the slightest. (But perhaps a good thing this one is for me, rather than my teenage son, who might think differently!)
