It's not, my opinion, a particularly good-looking radio but it does perform well. It is small but surprizingly very heavy, a pleasant surprize. It measures nearly 10 1/2 inches wide by 5 3/8 inches tall (with the handle folded down) and a bit less than 2 1/2 inches deep. It has a nice solid feel and a very substantial carrying handle that folds down neatly when not needed. The weight insures it can "stand its ground" and not easily be tipped over. This radio comes with all the features I consider basic to a radio and which are often missing from even the more expensive radio offerings (e.g.--my more expensive Tivoli table radio). It is able to pull in distant AM and FM stations quite well for a radio its size and once you get a station you can further fine-tune it for the optimal sound. Granted Sangean's U3 outperforms the PR-D15 in this area but then the U3 is a much bigger and more expensive radio and you would expect that. This radio comes with two small speakers instead of one big speaker. I find this a very questionable choice but thanks to separate base and treble controls (why is this feature missing from so many of today's radios) the sound quality is acceptably good and can be adjusted to suit your ear and what you are listening to. No, its not hi-fidelity by any means but it does produce clear and fairly clean sound be it talk radio, rock-n-roll or classical music. Still I believe one larger speaker would have been a better choice and would produce better sound. THe PR-D15 comes with 5 presets which allow you to quickly surf between a handful of your favorite stations. And, a feature I especially wanted was the ability to run on battery power for use outdoors or in an emergency. I bought a set of the NiMH batteries for this purpose. You will not need a battery charger as this radio charges the rechargeable batteries when it is plugged into any AC outlet. That feature I really like. You can just load the batteries and forget it, no worrying about whether the batteries might be getting low. Other features include an alarm (great for travel or bedside use at home), a headphone jack and an auxilary input. And since I also use this radio for travel the Seek feature is handy for quickly finding stations anyplace I am. Not the perfect radio but probably about as close as you can get for radios in this size and price range. The radios by CC Crane are the closest competition to this radio. I only wish the PR-D15 were better looking as I would like to replace my handsome but underperforming Tivoli with one of these. .

Lo necesitaba para un espacio no tan pequeño y me resultó a la medida. Buen tamaño , muy buen sonido y recepción aceptable. Su construcción se observa de buena calidad.
