In pictures its mat brown but when I received it it was all shiny brown like silvery brown.it should be like the pictures you know . Where is the consistency? It's like I have been deceived.it is definitely not cool guys

bin mir nicht sicher, ob die Birkenstock original sind, hart wie ein Brett, lassen sich kaum biegen, sind zudem nicht gerade leicht. Geliefert in einem komplett weissen, weichen, billigen, unbedruckten Schuhkarton, ohne jeglichen Aufkleber bzw. Hinweis von Birkenstock.meine letzten Schlapfen vom Diskonter um 10,- sind wesentlich wertiger als dieses Paar.werde die Pantoletten zurückschicken und originale im Birkenstock-Webshop bestellen.durch diese Lieferung aufgescheucht hab ich mal Dr.Google befragt, dabei jede Menge Artikel über Birkenstock-Fälschungen bei Amazon gefunden.Schade....

I take a UK 4 / EU37, so I ordered the 37(UK4.5). I was worried I'd taken a size too large, as the shoes really are huge, but without being able to try the size below, I just kept the 37's. (Unfortunately that's the downside of buying online.) I had to poke new holes in the straps to keep the slippers from flapping around, and initially the shoe, although moulded with toe-dents and raised arch bits, gave me blisters straight away after a 30 minute walk. I still don't wear them for long walks, as they just rub in the wrong places for me (another sign that I should have taken a size smaller), but they are great for the garden and around the house. Well built and feel they will last a very long time.If you take a normal size UK4/EU37, I really recommend taking the size below (UK3.5).I have normal-slightly-wide feet, 22-23cm long. UK4 usually fits me absolutely fine, unless a narrow fit.

Bought for my husband. Birkenstock sandals were an accidental discovery for us. Some years ago he developed very painful plantar fasciitis. He was gifted some Birkenstocks and the arch support worked for him like a dream. Painful feet rapidly became an unpleasant memory and he lives in these sandals - summer, winter, day, night. Worth every penny ... though in the interests of a fair review I must say they don’t work for me ... so be aware ... they’re not for everyone ... but they’ve been a life saver for the other half!

After days of searching I found these sandals described as shoe width 'large' when I clicked on the size I wanted and was sent to a new page, the sandals were slightly dearer but I decided to buy. The sandals arrived and they are a very snug fit. I had expected them to be too wide as my other Birkenstock's are a regular fit, so I was glad that I had ordered the wide sandals. A few days later discovered that they are in fact a 'narrow' fit. I guess I should have checked out the new page more thoroughly and I may have spotted that they were in fact a narrow fit. I think that the width should be in the drop down menu with the shoe size and not hidden in the incorrect text, they were also described as 100% leather??? I would expect this from eBay, but not Amazon.If I have noticed that I have been sent a narrow fitting sandal before I worn the sandals I would have been able to return them, now I can only hope that when my feet swell in the summer that I will still be able to wear them without them pinching my feet.

I have several pairs of Birkenstock's so I knew what I was in for. I wear a 36 in Birkies, as opposed to my usual 38 - much smaller. That size fits my foot perfectly; wraps round it and supports my arches, cups my heels and provides a non-slip jumping off point for my toes. My arthritic feet are a bit of a write-off - everything hurts and is a funny shape, but in Birkies they feel almost normal. I use Birkies as slippers all year round (with socks, to my shame), as well as sandals in summer. They're just that comfortable.This pair is very simple in design; with two straps to adjust you can fit your feet well, regardless of bunions, socks etc. The leather is flexible and doesn't rub. The colour is neutral and goes with most things. If I could afford it, I'd buy every colour! Everyone should have a pair of Birkies in their wardrobe and this is a good starter pair.
