If you are rehabilitating an old dry strop, take your time and just use a little dressing every few days. If you are just using the dressing to keep a new strop in good shape, 4 oz should be a lifetime supply. While this product will probably work for other leather dressing needs, I have a variety of leather dressings in my kit.
