OK for the money, but barely.
I got these for some desk-clearing space in my home office, putting the things I wanted off my desk onto shelves and out of my way.And for that, they did the job.But...The wood was desiccated, and not one solid plank. It was obviously glued together from three or so 1X2's then planed flat. This made it thinner than a 1X2 would have been (by about 1/8 of an inch when comparing to a standard 1X2). It has also been left to dry for WAY too long. Whatever stain they used did NOT seal the wood, so they were both slightly warped, curling up toward the middle lengthwise, which is a result of planing the wood too thing and letting it sit in a dry environment. One shelf board was much worse than the other. So, of course, screwing the brace into place cracked one of them almost all the way down the middle lengthwise.I used some wood glue to make sure the crack didn't propagate, waited for it to dry, used a hand awl to drill tap holes for the screws and went on with my day.Putting them up was fine, and they seem to be doing the job without falling off the walls. The mounting hardware was included, cheap, but serviceable. I'd recommend using a much smaller drill or awl to tap the drywall than the full diamertere of the anchor, then gently use a rubber mallet to snughly insert the dry wall anchor before mounting. The use of a level in the mounting process will be helpful, too.The metal braces were both a bit bent out of shape, needing some adjustments to get them to fit properly. Due to the fragility of the wood, I did NOT attach the towel hangers, and would advise against doing that. I would NOT recommend putting more than a pound or two on each them. This is because the height of the screws in the brace holding it to the wall are roughly the same as a claw hammer so that too much weight on the shelves or the outer edge of the shelves away from the wall can easily lever them out of the wall. Hence why a very snug fit for the anchors is so important. For a more secure hold for more weight, an expanding wall anchor (similar to The Hillman Group 41304 Hollow Wall Anchor) would be much better, and I'll probably replace the ones that came with the shelves with something like that in the future. That can't be pulled out of through drywall nearly as readily as the anchors provided.I've put up a lot of shelves in my time, so know what to look for, and how to deal with these kinds of things. If done right, I think these shelves will work for most people, but I'd not recommend them for heavy use.For what I wanted, they did the job, so three stars "average" rating. But it did take some tricks to get it to work without breaking at least one of the shelves, and I did not feel they were sturdy enough to hold towels underneath. A few rolls of toilet paper or some small wash cloths or hand towels at most, and keep heavy items toward the wall side. If it had been one solid piece of wood, instead of a composite of three pieces, and thicker, less dry wood to avoid the splitting, I would have rated it higher. It would have gotten five stars if the wood was better quality AND the wall anchors were more sturdy. But for the price I paid, I'm not dissatisfied.

It's aight.
The shelves are completely raw, unfinished and not sanded down so be careful. I had sandpaper and wanted to stain mine anyway so nbd. The "rope" is not 2 long ropes that you can cut to size which is what I thought. it's actually 3 sets of precut and measured "rope" that's sealed at each end by being burned. Which was kind of ugly and disappointing vuz it doesn't really give you much option in terms of length or if you wanted to do like a ladder shelving type thing with them. It isn't even real rope. It's like thick knitting material on the inside, wrapped with what looks like rope on the outside, and it stuck out. You can see it in the pictures I took. Some of the "ropes" werent sealed, and as I was trying to thread them through the wooden planks holes I had a little trouble. the "knitting thread" part was coming through, but the "rope" part was stuck on all the tiny splinters at the other end of the hole since the woods unfinished and the holes pretty snug. And it Kinda did that thing like when you push a straw out of its paper wrapper If that makes any sense. Had to take it all out, use a pencil to shove the rope part through far enough to be able to fish it out with some tweezers on the other side. Once I tied each end off, I just had to cut off the excess interior threading. The ropes aren't all the same length either. It doesn't look too pretty but the area I have it in is recessed, so you can't really tell unless you get close up anyway. But honestly if you have the tools to cut wood and make holes in it, you're better off just buying some 1x4s and some rope & doing it yourself. It'll prob look better, give you more quantity, and better quality. All in all I'm not mad at it, and I get compliments on my little setup all the time. But it's basically what you'd expect from another Chinese seller on Amazon. Don't expect to be wowed or amazed, it's not better than anything you can do with a little work on your own, but it does the job.

No hardware
My shelves came with no hardware. I tore the box apart looking for the screws but they were not in the box. 😩

Cute but needs improvement---update
While the overall concept is great and very cute, the rope straps are not very good. I couldn't get the straps through the holes at all. The fabric of the straps kept rolling up like an old shoe string would have. The ends weren't burnt enough to keep them from unraveling. Also it was missing a hook which wasn't that big of a deal but just fyi. UPDATE- The seller responded to my review and was very nice, they offered a refund or a free replacement. I just thought that I would share that information so I updated from 2 stars to 4 just for the quick response and offer to replace free of charge.

Missing hardware, decent shelves
Hardware was missing from our order, and based on some of the other reviews this is a common issue with this product. The shelves themselves are fine, it would just have been nice not to have to search my random screw drawer for something that fit and somewhat matched.

Looks good but not a good experience.
No instructions. The prefilled holes didn't match up without using pressure to install the screws. The wall anchors were a JOKE. I managed to get it together but it was not easy. I like what the finished product looks like BUT it took a lot of effort and that was disappointing.

Looks great and worth the buy!
Very sturdy!! My only issue was getting the thick rope through the holes. I ended up burning the ends a bit so the rope didn’t separate. Other than that, very easy to assemble.

Pretty but not practical
The shelves look beautiful but aren't very practical if you have anything of weight to set up. I'm looking for a different way to brace them up to make them sturdier now. The picture I enclosed shows how more weight causes the actual board to droop down. Still pretty and I'm gonna use them when I can strengthen them some.
